Goodbye, Jude
Jude Bellingham has posted a heartfelt goodbye to the Borussia Dortmund fans after the midfielder completed his move to Real Madrid.
The England international is now the most expensive British player of all time and has signed a six-year contract with Los Blancos.
Bellingham, 19, took to Instagram to post a highlight reel of his time in Germany, alongside an emotional message.
He said: "Where to start, for the last three years Borussia Dortmund has been the biggest part of my life.
"I joined as a 17-year-old boy and am leaving as a man. I cannot thank this club enough for everything it's done for me.
"The opportunities, the experiences, the highs and even the lows. All of it has been part of what has been a great development both as a human and a player.
"I am honoured to have represented this football club as often as I have, I'd like to thank all the players, managers, bosses and members of staff that have played a role in my time at the club.
"I'll always keep a place for BVB in my heart and will never forget the impact the values of the club has had on my life."
Magic Messi
Lionel Messi was on form as Argentina beat Australia 2-0 in an international friendly today.
The World Cup winner is preparing to join Major League Soccer side Inter Miami in the coming months, following his exit from Paris Saint-Germain.
And the 35-year-old opened the scoring in China, meaning Messi has now recorded goals in every minute of normal regulation other than the first.
Second-half substitute German Pezzella doubled Argentina's advantage and secured the win for the South American side.
The 2022 victors in Qatar will face Indonesia in four days' time before players jet off on holiday ahead of the new campaign in August.
Richy the Real deal?
Richarlison has admitted that every player dreams of playing for Real Madrid at some point during their career.
The Brazilian forward joined Tottenham last summer for a £60million fee, but has so far failed to provide a return on investment, scoring just one Premier League goal all season.
But Spurs' No9 has expressed his desire to play under Carlo Ancelotti once again, but in Madrid instead of on Merseyside.
He said: "Of course every player would like to wear the Madrid shirt, it's the biggest club in the world.
"But I have a club, I have a contract. I have to show why they signed me for such a high price.
"Any player's dream is wearing the Real Madrid shirt, but I have to deliver wearing a Tottenham shirt.
Balling out
Burnley and Manchester City are set to be the first teams to try out the new Premier League ball after it was released today.
The pair will face off in the first fixture of the season on August 11 as Vincent Kompany faces Pep Guardiola having been hammered by the champions in the FA Cup last term.
Nike have unveiled the fourth edition of their flight ball and the brand has opted for a different look ahead of the 2023-24 campaign.
An orange pattern with a black and purple trim replace the gold arrows that were prevalent on last term's ball — which was designed to reflect the first few years of the Premier League.
Hampton's had enough
Aston Villa goalkeeper Hannah Hampton is set to leave the Midlands this summer, the club have confirmed.
The 22-year-old will see out the final few weeks of her contract with the Villans before departing as a free agent having spent two seasons in Birmingham.
Carla Ward was responsible for bringing the stopper to Villa in 2021 and the England international went on to play 43 times in all competitions.
She was a vital member of the squad that finished fifth in the Women's Super League this term but is set to seek a new challenge ahead of the new campaign.
A short message from the club read: "Aston Villa women sincerely thanks Hannah for her time at the club and wishes her well in her next chapter."
Barca's new strip
Barcelona have released their new kit.
The Spanish giants say the new look is for people who are "here to lead the way" as they prepare to mount a title defence in 2023-24
For the first time, the badge includes a diamond, which is inspired by the first women's supporters' club from 1971.
The new kit can be bought online via the club and Nike, as well as in-store.
Barca will sport their new threads on their pre-season tour ahead of the new LaLiga campaign.
A gift from the skipper
England captain Harry Kane has gifted every one of his international team-mates with a framed record after the striker became his country's all-time top goalscorer.
The Three Lions are preparing to face Malta on Friday, but Kane took the time to get everyone together to show his appreciation for their support.
He shared the gifts on social media, saying: "I couldn't have broken the England all-time goalscoring record without the support of my team-mates and managers who have helped me along the way.
"This gift is a massive thank you from me to all those who I've shared a changing room with since my debut. Thank you."
Kane stands alone as England's most prolific striker, scoring 55 times.
He broke the record in March as the Three Lions beat Italy in their opening Euro 2024 qualifying match.
