The third international break of the season is creeping up on us but there is still a round of fixtures for fantasy football fans to pile on the points ahead of the hiatus.

Here are five players you should be looking to get into your squad for a busy weekend of Premier League action.

Mark Flekken, Brentford (Goalkeeper)

Brentford let a lead slip to lose 2-1 at Fulham on Monday but could bounce back against a Bournemouth side who beat Manchester City last time out.

Motivation may be an issue for the Cherries after such a momentous victory, while they will also come up against goalkeeper Mark Flekken, who has made more saves (54) than any other goalkeeper in the Premier League.

The Cherries have only won once away from home this season and, while they have averaged a goal a game on the road, they were nilled at Leicester, meaning Flekken could be on for his first clean sheet of the campaign.

Rayan Ait Nouri, Wolves (Defender)

Wolves have yet to win in 2024/25 but should fancy their chances of getting off the mark at home against fellow strugglers Southampton.

The Saints broke their duck by beating Everton last weekend but have lost all five away matches and may come unstuck at Molineux.

That opens the door for Wolves players to pick up points and Rayan Ait Nouri will surely be in the mix.

Ait Nouri has registered the third-most shots of any defender and is ranked joint-sixth in the league for key passes.

Bruno Fernandes, Manchester United (Midfielder)

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes scored his first Premier League goal of the season last Sunday against Chelsea and will be confident of kicking on when Leicester visit.

A midweek Europa League date with PAOK should not prove too taxing and Fernandes can play a big part again on Sunday.

As of writing, the 30-year-old has had nine shots and provided eight key passes in two outings under interim boss Ruud van Nistelrooy.

While there are potentially cheaper alternatives, few can match the playmaker's numbers, and his recent Carabao Cup brace against the Foxes makes him even more attractive.

Chris Wood, Nottingham Forest (Striker)

Nottingham Forest forward Chris Wood took his league tally to eight by scoring the opener in last Saturday's 3-0 win against West Ham and has been a vital cog in his team's rise to fifth in the table.

Forest's next game is on Sunday against one of the Kiwi's former clubs, Newcastle, who have conceded in four of their five Premier League away games this season.

Wood scored a hat-trick against the Magpies last term, albeit at St James' Park and could find the net for the sixth straight game for club and country.

Dominic Solanke, Tottenham Hotspur (Striker)

Tottenham host Ipswich and striker Dominic Solanke should shine against the second-worst defence in the Premier League.

The Tractor Boys are still to win this season, partly due to conceding 21 goals, most recently a stoppage-time equaliser in last Saturday's 1-1 draw with Leicester.

Solanke grabbed a brace in Spurs' 4-1 win over Aston Villa and, with three of his league goals for his new club scored at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the 27-year-old has a chance to rack up the points.
