Europe's elite divisions are hotting up with title races and relegation battles still to reach their conclusions across the continent.

This weekend we have picked out two games from Germany's Bundesliga and three from France’s Ligue 1, with the five-fold accumulator. if successful, returning at 12/1.

Friday, 7.30pm

Publicidad

Bayer Leverkusen remain in the thick of the battle for European places in the Bundesliga and can take another step towards that target with victory over Cologne.

Xabi Alonso’s men have been rock solid at home recently, winning seven of their last nine league games in their own backyard, and Cologne have only taken 15 points from a possible 45 on the road this season.

The visitors have won just two of their last 10 games and may fall short again on this trip.

Saturday, 2.30pm

Publicidad

Union Berlin have seen their lead in the Champions League race eroded but they can get back to winning ways against Augsburg, who are winless in their last seven games.

Union have the best defensive record in the division, conceding 31 in 30 games and that solidity should be enough for them to pick up all three points in this one.

Saturday, 6pm

Paulo Fonesca's in-form Lille will be looking to capitalise on Reims' three-match losing run in which they have failed to score

Reims made a name for themselves earlier in the season by being solid defensively but they have struggled to replicate that recently, losing three games on the spin to sink into the bottom half of the table.

Will Still’s side face a tough task against Lille, who are chasing a European place and have won four of their last six matches.

The visitors are fancied to continue that good run with a win.

Sunday, 12pm

Publicidad

Monaco have lost two in a row but they have landed the perfect opportunity to bounce back, against bottom side Angers.

The relegation certainties have lost 25 of their 33 matches this season and have the worst defensive record in the league.

If Monaco want a Champions League spot this season they have to, and should, get the better of their struggling opponents in this one.

Sunday, 7.45pm

PSG have wobbled somewhat in the Ligue 1 title race but 18th-placed Troyes should not pose much resistance to the table toppers and they can get a win, despite any off-field issues.

Troyes have only won four of their 33 matches and have lost four of their last five games.

Kylian Mbappe et al can get a comfortable success to get back on track here.
