Wednesday features three more games in Euro 2024, including the second game for host nation Germany.

First up, Croatia need to recover from an opening defeat and will be attempting to get their campaign back on track against Albania.

That will be followed by Germany looking for another win when they take on a Hungarian side that lost their first game against Switzerland.

Croatia vs Albania (Wednesday, 2pm)

Bet 1: Croatia to win

Publicidad

Croatia lost 3-0 in their opening game against Spain, but managed to have slightly more possession and fire in more shots on goal.

They will surely dominate this game and having been unlucky not to find the net in their opener, should get back to winning ways against an Albanian side that were gifted their goal in a 2-1 loss to Italy.

Bet 2: Under 10.5 shots on target

Of Croatia’s 16 shots against Spain, five were on target, with the Spanish also managing five.

Albania limited Italy to five accurate shots from 17, while only recording one on target themselves.

Croatia are the sort of team likely to show patience in their build up, rather than fire in shots from all angles.

Bet 3: Lovro Majer to score

The Wolfsburg forward Lovro Majer is not a prolific scorer for his club, but there are signs that he may be developing into one for his country.

He will start on the right of the Croatian attack against Albania, having scored three goals in his last four matches at international level.

Germany vs Hungary (Wednesday, 5pm)

Julian Nagelsmann will be confident that his Germany side can take control early against Hungary as they did against Scotland

Bet 1: Germany/Germany - Half-time/full-time

Germany were 3-0 up at the break in their opening match against Scotland, with Florian Wirtz opening the scoring after just 10 minutes.

Hungary made a slow start to their first game in Group A, finding themselves 2-0 down at the break before eventually losing 2-1.

Bet 2: Over 2.5 goals for Germany

After Wirtz’s first goal, another followed from Jamal Musiala, before Arsenal’s Kai Havertz converted a penalty before half-time.

Julian Naglesmann then saw two of his substitutes find the net in the second half as Niclas Fullkrug and Emre Can converted opportunities, with the former having now scored 12 times in 17 games for Germany.

Bet 3: Most cards - Hungary

Germany saw Ryan Porteous sent off for a dangerous foul inside the area against Scotland, in a game in which Anthony Ralston was also shown a yellow.

With the host nation likely to dominate this game, it seems likely that Hungary will be forced into fouls, after receiving two bookings against Switzerland.
