- Watford have won their last two Championship matches
- Millwall are on a three-game winless run
- Recommended bet: Watford to win

The Championship action heads to Vicarage Road on Saturday when Watford play host to Millwall, who have still to find a successor to Gary Rowett.

Adam Barrett has been in temporary charge of the Lions for the last two games and he has yet to taste success, drawing 1-1 at Preston before being edged out 2-1 at home to Blackburn.

Watford have been on the up over recent weeks and Tuesday's victory at Swansea was their second in a row, while it also extended their unbeaten streak to three matches and they are looking up the table rather than over their shoulders.

Team news

Sweden international Ken Sema is pushing for a starting spot

Ryan Porteous is available for Watford after serving a one-match suspension and should be brought back into the matchday squad.

Yaser Asprilla provided the assist for Ken Sema's goal in the 1-0 win over Swansea last time out and the duo are both pushing for starts.

Millwall could make changes after the 2-1 home defeat to Blackburn in midweek, but they will definitely be without the services of the injured trio of Matija Sarkic, Shaun Hutchinson and Kevin Nisbet.

The stats

All four of Watford's Championship victories this season have come to nil, beating QPR (4-0), Birmingham (2-0), Sheffield Wednesday (1-0) and Swansea (1-0).

Eleven of the Hornets' 16 points this term have been collected at Vicarage Road, a stadium they have lost just one of their last four fixtures at.

Publicidad

Millwall are yet to win under temporary boss Barrett and they have only tasted success twice from their last nine matches, a run that has seen them slip to 16th in the table.

Both teams to score has failed to land in the last six meetings between these two clubs, with November 2014 the last time the back of the net was found at both ends.

Prediction

Millwall seem to be lacking direction without a permanent boss at the helm and even though they are unbeaten in their last four away assignments (D3 W1), they are unlikely to get any change from a Watford side on the up.

Valerien Ismael has come under pressure this season but his side have started to turn things around of late, securing a comeback draw at Cardiff before beating the Owls and the Swans.

While the Lions continue their search for a new manager, the Hornets showed their faith in Ismael when extending his contract at the start of October and the results have started to flow since.
