A number of European and Saudi Arabian clubs are keeping tabs on Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.

Chelsea and Real Madrid are two potential suitors for the Nigerian international, who could leave Italy in January after becoming the subject of a social media joke from the club's official TikTok account.

The Daily Mail claim that teams from the Saudi Pro League are leading the charge for the Serie A winner should he decide to leave this winter over the fallout.

Real Madrid are also on the hunt for a new No9 following the departure of Karim Benzema over the summer and will be looking to replace veteran forward Joselu as soon as possible.

Chelsea have a firm interest in 27-cap international but any approach from the Blues would be complicated after Todd Boehly introduced a new wage structure following his takeover in 2022.

Osimhen has already bagged four goals in six matches for Napoli this season but missed a penalty in their goalless draw with Bologna at the weekend.

The 24-year-old scored 26 times in 32 Serie A appearances last term to fire his side to their first league title in 30 years.

With just two years left on his contract, it is increasingly likely that Napoli will have to consider a sale soon to avoid losing their star player for nothing.

Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with the elite goalscorer which could help ramp his price up — the Italian club are said to value Osimhen at around £150million.
