Blackburn forward Ben Brereton Diaz is attracting attention from no less than FOUR Premier League sides.

Rovers' striking sensation, 23, netted his eighth goal of the season in Tuesday’s 2-0 home victory over Sunderland to become the Championship's joint-top scorer.

It follows on from a stunning 22-goal haul last term — form that prompted a host of top-tier clubs to take a closer look at the Chile international.

Though Rovers triggered a one-year extension to his contract over the summer, the expectation is that Brereton Diaz will depart for pastures new in the near future.

Selling in January would ensure the Lancashire club receive a fee and The Sun say Crystal Palace are ready to test the waters with a bid.

However, they are likely to face competition with Football Insider suggesting Everton, Leeds and Fulham are also preparing to enter the race.

The latter report also suggests interest on the continent, with LaLiga outfit Sevilla touted as frontrunners to land the Stoke-born star.

It claims that new boss Jorge Sampaoli sees Brereton Diaz as the ideal face of his rebuilding project in Andalucia and that agreeing a financial package will be no issue.

Brereton Diaz represented England up to Under-20s level but qualified to play for Chile through his mother, earning a first cap in June 2021.

He has since gone on to net four times in 17 international appearances, earning him worldwide notoriety.
