Manchester United are plotting a move for Crystal Palace winger Michael Olise in the summer.

The talented Frenchman was pursued by Chelsea ahead of the 2023-24 campaign but there is likely to be stiffer competition for his signature in the coming months.

A report from 90min claims the Red Devils have been given the green light by new owners INEOS to strengthen their attack, although outgoings remain the priority when the window opens.

Olise has only made 11 Premier League appearances this term but has been highly effective when he has featured.

With six goals and three assists, the 22-year-old is Palace's most productive player and his large absences have contributed to his side's poor position in the table.

Although Olise's unfortunate injury record may tempt United into a lowball offer, Eagles chiefs are sure to hold out for a mammoth fee in the summer.

The London-born speedster is contracted at Selhurst Park until 2027 and his £35million release clause is no longer active after signing a new four-year deal last August.

United have made a habit of signing expensive wingers and will be desperate to avoid the same mistakes they made by splashing out on Jadon Sancho and Antony.

Olise could be an exception due to his Premier League experience.
