The third and final round of games in Group A will commence on Sunday night, with Germany and Switzerland meeting for the right to progress to the knockout stages as group winners.

Scotland still have a shout of automatic qualification, while they and their opponents Hungary, can also make the last-16 of the tournament by being one of the highest ranked third-placed teams.

Switzerland vs Germany (Sunday, 8pm)

Bet 1: Germany to win

Publicidad

The Germans only need a point to win Group A and Switzerland are in decent form, which serves to strengthen the price of a victory for the tournament hosts.

Julian Nagelsmann will be minded to play a strong side and will want to continue to build momentum, with his side having now won five of their last six games.

Bet 2: Both teams to score

Though Germany kept a clean sheet in the 2-0 win over Hungary, they have conceded in 13 of their 17 games since the 2022 World Cup.

Since that tournament, Switzerland have scored in 14 of their 16 matches, scoring four goals so far at Euro 2024.

Bet 3: Jamal Musiala to score or assist

Publicidad

The Bayern Munich youngster scored in the first game of the competition against Scotland, as Germany ran riot.

Musiala then doubled his tally with the opener against Hungary. With Germany striker Kai Havertz having yet to score from open play, it could be up to the wide attackers to provide the cutting edge.

Scotland vs Hungary (Sunday, 8pm)

Scott McTominay led the way in qualifying with goals from midfield and scored against Switzerland last time out

Bet 1: Both teams to score

Scotland have both scored and conceded in their two games at Euro 2024 so far, with Steve Clarke’s team having only kept one clean sheet against Gibraltar, from their last 11 fixtures.

Hungary’s blank against Germany was the first time that they had failed to score in 12 matches.

Bet 2: Over 24.5 shots on goal

There were a total of 23 shots in Scotland’s match with Switzerland and 21 in Hungary’s match against the Swiss.

Considering that both teams need to win in order to stand any chance of qualifying from Group A, then we can surely expect these two sides to jointly record a higher shot total.

Bet 3: Scott McTominay to score

The Manchester United player scored his first goal of the tournament against Switzerland and is the likeliest player to find the net from Clarke’s side

McTominay scored seven goals to help Scotland qualify for Euro 2024, making him the highest scoring midfielder in the qualification stages.
