Manchester United's ragged start to the campaign faces a stern test from Brighton in one of the more intriguing Premier League games on Saturday's schedule.
Elsewhere, Brentford bid to stay unbeaten in the North East where they face a Newcastle team looking to avoid a fourth straight league defeat.
Brighton vs Manchester United (Saturday, 3pm)
Bet 1: Over two goals in the match for both teams combined
Brighton's style of play involves taking risks and that will not change when Manchester United bring their own brand of attacking football to the South Coast this weekend.
The Seagulls have scored a league–high 12 goals through the first four rounds of fixtures and should create chances against a United side that have shipped seven goals already this term.
Three of the four most potent chance creators in the Premier League will be in action too with Pascal Gross (16) and Kaoru Mitoma (14) in Albion's line-up and Bruno Fernandes (14) set to captain the Reds.
There could be a first start for United's big summer signing Rasmus Hojlund, while Albion forward Evan Ferguson will probably shake off a niggle as he tries to follow up his hat-trick against Newcastle last time out.
All the ingredients are there for goals, particularly with the United defence not looking anywhere near as tight as it was for most of last season.
Bet 2: Brighton to win
Roberto De Zerbi's men appear to have the Red Devils' number, having beaten them in both the home and away league games last term plus coming close to knocking United out of the FA Cup too.
United's early–season form has been very shaky with Erik ten Hag's men sustaining defeats in their two previous away trips against Tottenham and Arsenal.
They could easily have dropped points in both home games too, so it makes sense to side with the in-form Seagulls.
Bet 3: Aaron Wan-Bissaka to be carded in the match
The former Crystal Palace star is an expert tackler and likes to let his opponents know it, but that approach brings inherent disciplinary risks even to the very best.
Wan-Bissaka has picked up two yellow cards in his first four Premier League games of the season — as many as he did in 19 top-flight appearances for United last season.
The United right-back's battle with Brighton's Mitoma could be crucial to the outcome of the game and, although Wan-Bissaka had the upper hand at Wembley last year, the Japanese star will provide a stern test of his timing this weekend.
Brentford vs Bournemouth (Saturday, 3pm)
Bet 1: Both teams to score - Yes
Both teams have been on the scoresheet in three of Newcastle's opening four Premier League matches and a similar ratio of Brentford's games.
The bet also landed in both head-to-head meetings last season, which were both won by Newcastle.
On the evidence of the opening month, the Magpies' defence is not quite the force of last season when Eddie Howe's men finished with the joint-second highest number of clean sheets.
Brentford have been vulnerable at the back too with new goalkeeper Mark Flekken taking time to settle in and are unlikely to keep a determined Magpies attack at bay for 90 minutes.
Bet 2: Under 4 corners in the match for Brentford
Brentford won fewer than four corners in 12 of their 19 top-flight away games last term.
The Bees are not among the Premier League's most prolific when it comes to winning them this season either and corners could again be on short supply for the visitors this Saturday.
Thomas Frank sets his team up to be quite narrow and compact away from home and, although they will try to stun Newcastle on the counter-attack, very few of these fast-paced moves tend to lead to corners.
Bet 3: Over 8 corners in the match for Newcastle
The Magpies mustered eight corners or more in 10 of their 19 Premier League home games last term.
They may not have quite managed to reach or better that mark in either of their home games this term, but Brentford defend their penalty area in a different way to Aston Villa and Liverpool.
