Harry Kane scored his 300th career club goal as Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen played out a thrilling 2-2 draw.

With only seven minutes on the clock, Kane headed in for his fourth goal in as many Bundesliga games but Alex Grimaldo later levelled the game with a fantastic free-kick.

Leon Goretzka — moments after the England captain was subbed off — tapped home to score what appeared to be the winner with four minutes to go.

But Exequiel Palacios netted a controversial penalty, awarded by the video assistant referee, in injury time to rescue a valuable point for Xabi Alonso's side.

The draw means that both sides lose their perfect starts to the Bundesliga but maintain their unbeaten records.

Kane's close-range header brought his club career total to an impressive 300, with 280 for Tottenham, nine for Millwall, five for Leyton Orient, four for Bayern and two for Leicester.

Elsewhere, Paris Saint-Germain lost their first game under new manager Luis Enrique as they were beaten 3-2 by Nice despite a Kylian Mbappe brace.

Terem Moffi gave Nice the lead but Mbappe levelled with a first-time shot from the edge of the area.

Gaetan Laborde put the visitors back into the lead and Moffi grabbed his second shortly after.

Mbappe's volley gave PSG hope of a late equaliser but they could not find a way through their stubborn opponents.

Kylian Mbappe has aleady scored seven goals in Ligue 1

Despite a lot of uncertainty around his future, the French skipper has already scored seven goals from five games in Ligue 1.

The win moves Nice above PSG into second, just behind Monaco.
