Matchday two draws to a close today with three huge fixtures in Euro 2020's group of death.

Hungary face world champions France in Budapest before European Championship holders Portugal take on Germany in Munich.

Capping off the action is Spain's clash against Poland in Seville — a game neither side can really afford to lose.

As ever, we've rounded up the best of the transfer rumours concerning the players involved.

Timo time for Real

New Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has made German striker Timo Werner his first transfer target.

The Chelsea forward endured a tough first season at Stamford Bridge, scoring just 12 times in all competitions.

But Ancelotti is keen to bring the 25-year-old to the Bernabeu this summer, according to reports in Spain.

Werner did provide 15 assists for the Champions League winners in 2020-21 but was plagued by a series of high-profile misses.

Bid rejected

Manchester United have opened the bidding for French defender Raphael Varane at £50million.

United are one of several interested parties but Real will only entertain offers of £80m or more for the 28-year-old centre-back.

Last season's Premier League runners-up are looking to bolster their central defensive options by finding a long-term partner for Harry Maguire.

King's ransom for Coman

Bayern winger Kinglsey Coman was in fine form last season

France winger Kingsley Coman has his eyes on a Premier League switch after turning down a contract extension at Bayern Munich.

Coman, 25, would like to see his salary increased in line with Leroy Sane, who joined from Manchester City last summer.

Bayern will demand £60m for Coman, who is contracted until 2023, and club president Uli Hoeness is not worried about the situation.

He said: "We're very relaxed there. I think the financial ceilings will not be exceeded.

"If he doesn't accept it [the new contract], in the end you have to be consistent as a club."

De Gea departure?

Spain keeper David de Gea is thought to be in the dark over his future at Manchester United.

De Gea, 30, had to share the No1 role with Dean Henderson in the latter part of 2020-21 amid reports United were keen to sell him.

He is one of the club's highest earners and will request to leave Old Trafford if he is not guaranteed to be Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first choice.

Thrown to the Wolves

Adama Traore is one of two players Wolves will reportedly listen to offers for this summer

Wolves pair Ruben Neves and Adama Traore have reportedly been put up for sale to raise funds.

New coach Bruno Lage has been told the Molineux outfit need to sell players to help offset losses recorded during the coronavirus pandemic.

And saleable assets such as Spain winger Traore and Portugal midfielder Neves will be considered expendable if the price is right.

Only Newcastle's Allan Saint-Maximin attempted more take-ons (8.32) per 90 minutes than Traore (7.36) in the Premier League last term.
