Erling Haaland believes he still has plenty of room for improvement after a stellar first season at Manchester City.

City take on Inter Milan in the Champions League final on Saturday as they bid to secure the Treble having already won the Premier League and FA Cup.

Haaland, 22, has been the star of the show for Pep Guardiola's side, scoring 52 goals across all competitions.

But the red-hot Norwegian insists he has yet to fulfil his potential.

He told BBC Radio 5 Live: "I am still young and can improve a lot. There are a lot of things I can do as there is a lot to improve.

"But I am in the perfect place, working with the best coach and the best players in the world. Pep is a details freak and is all about developing them."

European dream

Erling Haaland has been sensational in the Champions League this season

Winning the Champions League would be the ultimate achievement for Haaland. He said: "I have been dreaming about it as long as I can remember.

"When Chelsea played Manchester United [in the final in 2008], when I saw the celebrations, I thought I wanted to do that."

There is another reason why Haaland was desperate for City to go all the way in Europe.

He added: "I listen to the theme song in my car. I love this competition and it's a really nice song."
