- Fulham beat Brentford 2-1 last time out
- Recommended bet: Fulham to win

The mood around Crystal Palace has improved in the past couple of weeks after the Eagles beat Tottenham 1-0 in the Premier League and won 2-1 at Aston Villa in the EFL Cup.

Palace were denied a third straight win when Jean-Philippe Mateta had an injury-time effort ruled out in last weekend's 2-2 draw at Wolves and visitors Fulham were also involved in late drama on Monday night.

The Cottagers trailed Brentford 1-0 going into added time before Harry Wilson scored twice and Marco Silva's men are aiming to see off another of their London rivals this weekend.

Team news

Crystal Palace are without Eberechi Eze, Adam Wharton, Chadi Riad, Jefferson Lerma and Matheus Franca. Joel Ward and Chris Richards are closing in on a return to action but remain doubtful and Will Hughes is suspended after picking up his fifth booking of the season.

Fulham's Sasa Lukic (shoulder) will not be available until after this month's international break but the Cottagers have no fresh injury concerns.

The stats

Crystal Palace have won only one of their first 10 Premier League games this season, while they have failed to score in three of their last five home matches.

Palace's last two league defeats were both by a 1-0 scoreline, coming unstuck against Nottingham Forest and Liverpool.

Both teams have scored in eight of Fulham's last nine games in all competitions, while the Cottagers have failed to score in only one of their last 11 league fixtures.

Publicidad

Three of Fulham's last seven league matches have ended 1-1.

Eberechi Eze's absence will be hard felt this weekend by Crystal Palace

Prediction

Fulham left it late to turn around Monday's West-London derby against Brentford and they have a decent chance of claiming another win at Crystal Palace.

Having finished last season strongly, Palace have won only one of their first 10 Premier League matches this term, beating Tottenham 1-0 in their previous home game.

Oliver Glasner's men were held to a 2-2 draw at bottom club Wolves last weekend and their lengthy injury list means Fulham are an attractive bet to take maximum points at Selhurst Park.

England internationals Eze and Wharton are among the Palace absentees and Hughes, another midfield option, is suspended.

Palace routed Aston Villa 5-0 on the final day of last season but they have scored only eight goals in 10 league games this term and Fulham look far more fluent in attack.

They won the shot count 26-5 against Brentford and have scored at least once in each of their last 11 games in all competitions.
