The action continues to come thick and fast in the Championship with all 24 teams set to play again over the weekend.

We look ahead to all 12 games and have a score prediction for each.

Portsmouth vs Sheffield Wednesday (Friday, 8pm)

Portsmouth are bottom of the table having managed just one win so far and another defeat looks likely when they host a Sheffield Wednesday side that has drawn with Bristol City and beaten Coventry in their last two away games.

Score prediction: Portsmouth 1-2 Sheffield Wednesday

Publicidad

Bristol City vs Leeds United (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Leeds are third, three points behind leaders Sunderland and they can make it three wins on the spin with victory at Ashton Gate over Bristol City, who have drawn four of their last five games.

Score prediction: Bristol City 0-2 Leeds United

Coventry vs Luton (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Coventry are in the bottom three and have lost three of their last four at home but they should be good enough to pick up a point against Luton, who have also struggled so far this season.

Score prediction: Coventry City 1-1 Luton Town

Mark Robins' Coventry have struggled so far this season

Watford vs Blackburn Rovers (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Ninth-placed Watford are three points and three places beneath Blackburn in the table and the Hornets go into Saturday's home clash on the back of successive away defeats to Luton and Leeds.

Publicidad

Rovers picked up a solid point at home to West Brom in midweek and can edge what is set to be a tight clash at Vicarage Road.

Score prediction: Watford 1-2 Blackburn Rovers

Burnley vs QPR (Saturday, 3pm)

Second-placed Burnley are three points behind leaders Sunderland, but they need a victory after being held by Hull in midweek.

QPR ended a run of four consecutive defeats with a 1-1 draw of their own against Coventry on Tuesday, but it would be a big surprise if they were to get anything from their trip to Turf Moor.

Score prediction: Burnley 3-1 QPR

Derby vs Hull (Saturday, 3pm)

Derby have won four of their five home league games this season and they can pick up another victory over Hull at Pride Park to extend the Tigers' winless sequence to three games.

Score prediction: Derby 1-0 Hull

Plymouth vs Preston (Saturday, 3pm)

Plymouth have gone down to Cardiff and Millwall recently without scoring and Wayne Rooney's side look set to be in for another disappointing afternoon when they entertain a Preston team that is now unbeaten in four games, winning twice and drawing twice.

Score prediction: Plymouth 1-3 Preston

Wayne Rooney's Plymouth were beaten 1-0 at Millwall on Wednesday

Sheffield United vs Stoke (Saturday, 3pm)

Sheffield United have lost their last two as their automatic promotion ambitions have been questioned, but they should get back to winning ways at home to Stoke, who have drawn three in a row heading into the trip to Bramall Lane.

Publicidad

Score prediction: Sheffield United 2-0 Stoke

Sunderland vs Oxford (Saturday, 3pm)

Leaders Sunderland will expect to make it three wins on the trot when they entertain draw specialists Oxford, who have now drawn their last five in the Championship following the midweek 1-1 result against Derby.

Score prediction: Sunderland 3-0 Oxford

Swansea vs Millwall (Saturday, 3pm)

Swansea and Millwall are locked together on 13 points and these two similarly-matched teams could therefore play out an entertaining draw at the Swansea.com Stadium

Score prediction: Swansea 2-2 Milwall

Carlos Corberan's Baggies have not won any of their last five games in the Championship

West Brom vs Cardiff (Saturday, 3pm)

West Brom have now gone five games without a win after Wednesday's goalless draw with Blackburn, but they are still fourth and can pick up a much-needed victory over Cardiff, ending the Bluebirds' two-game winning streak in the process.

Score prediction: West Brom 2-1 Cardiff

Norwich vs Middlesbrough (Sunday, 3pm)

Norwich and Boro both have 17 points and Sunday's Carrow Road clash could be another tight Championship affair between two teams who will hope to make the play-offs at least this season.

Publicidad

Score prediction: Norwich 1-1 Middlesbrough
