Unified world heavyweight champ Anthony Joshua has told WBC kingpin Tyson Fury: Come and find the boss!

Joshua, 31, and Fury could collide twice this year, with the first fight expected to take place in June.

And the WBO, WBA Super and IBF title-holder has confirmed negotiations to finalise the showdown to crown the undisputed king of the division are progressing well.

Speaking to Sky News, AJ (pictured above) said: "We’re working on a date for around June.

"So if Tyson is serious, which I think he is, he'll know where to come and find the boss!

"I'm ready. I'm really looking forward to competition — all I want to do is fight, fight, fight! I can’t wait to get back in the ring."

Verbal sparring partners

Joshua and Fury have frequently traded verbal blows and British fight fans are desperate for the champions to lock horns on home soil.

But with coronavirus restrictions likely to limit any potential live crowd this summer, there is a chance the clash could be staged abroad.

Joshua added: "Any option. Home turf, Middle East, my back garden, your back garden. I don't mind where it is.

"I'm just ready to fight. I want that belt. I want to compete with Fury so all options are open to me."

Joshua successfully defended his titles against Kubrat Pulev in front of a limited number of fans at Wembley Arena in December before England was plunged into a third national lockdown.

And the Watford heavy-hitter cannot wait for packed houses to be the norm once again.

He said: "It was a blessing to have 1,000 people in attendance when I fought on December 12. Even though it was 1,000, it makes a big difference.

"So to hopefully get to 10,000, 20,000 and then, when the whole world gets back to normal, having 90,000 to 100,000 people in the stadium, I can’t wait.

"I can’t wait to rock the show and bring some entertainment back into people’s lives."

Undefeated Fury, 32, stunned the world just over a year ago by stopping Deontay Wilder in the seventh round to claim the famous green WBC belt.
