Scottish Cup quarter-final predictions

&w=707&quality=100)
- Celtic are aiming for a record-extending 43rd Scottish Cup
- Championship pair Livingston and Queen's Park are the lowest-ranked sides left in the competition
- Hearts last reached the final in 2022 when losing to Rangers
We are at the business end of the 2024-25 Scottish Cup with just eight teams left battling it out for the chance to lift the trophy.
Reigning champions Celtic, who are on course to complete the treble, are one of six Premiership teams left in the competition, with Championship pair Livingston and Queen's Park completing the octet.
Hearts vs Dundee (Friday, 7.45pm)
Hearts have won three of their last four matches at Tynecastle Park and they will fancy their chances of sending visitors Dundee packing in the first quarter-final on Friday.
The Dee are on an eight-game run without a win in the Premiership, losing five and drawing three, while their last three away matches have resulted in 6-0, 3-1 and 2-1 defeats.
Score prediction: Hearts 2-1 Dundee
Aberdeen vs Queen's Park (Saturday, 12.30pm)
&w=707&quality=100)
Queen's Park caused a huge upset in the last round when knocking Rangers out but they face a tough ask to defeat an Aberdeen side that have impressed at home of late.
The Dons have registered two wins and a draw from their last three outings at Pittodrie, and the Premiership outfit should have that extra bit of quality to see off their Championship foes.
Score prediction: Aberdeen 2-0 Queen's Park
Celtic vs Hibernian (Sunday, 3pm)
It looks like a hard task for anyone to stop Celtic from lifting the Scottish Cup this season, given the fact the Bhoys are cruising to the league title and already have the League Cup wrapped up.
But Brendan Rodgers' side will be wary of quarter-final opponents Hibernian, who recorded a 2-1 victory at Easter Road when the pair met a couple of weeks ago.
Celtic are, however, back on home turf where they are unbeaten in their last 32 domestic games, last losing to Hearts in December 2023.
The Bhoys should have more than enough attacking quality to get the job done, although they may have to do so without a clean sheet, as Hibs have failed to score in just one of their last 15 fixtures.
Score prediction: Celtic 3-1 Hibernian
Livingston vs St. Johnstone (Monday, 7.45pm)
Should Queen's Park lose at Aberdeen on Saturday, Livingston will be the sole Championship team left in the competition and they may be able to book their place in the semi-finals.
Livi are on an 11-game unbeaten run in all competitions and they will have the added bonus of the home crowd at Almondvale Stadium, where they have not last at since mid-December.
St. Johnstone are rooted to the foot of the Premiership table and they have struggled on the road, winning just one of their last nine away assignments.
Livingston have never reached the Scottish Cup final and last made the semi-finals in 2004, the same year they won the League Cup, but they can continue their fantastic run at the expense of the Saints.
Score prediction: Livingston 2-1 St. Johnstone
