As is often the case when Wimbledon comes around, so does the rain but, despite it messing around with the early schedule, fourth-round action is still set to take place on Sunday.

The action features four fascinating last-16 matches from the women’s draw, with British heroine Emma Raducanu the headline act against Lulu Sun.

Second seed Coco Gauff is also taking to the court while there is a mammoth showdown scheduled between Jasmine Paolini and Madison Keys.

Bet 1: Coco Gauff to win 2-0 v Emma Navarro

Gauff will strongly believe she has what it takes to claim her second Grand Slam title at Wimbledon this summer and the American should showcase her talents against compatriot Emma Navarro.

It won’t be a walk in the park for Gauff as Navarro is improving all the time but it is hard to envisage a shock, given the world number two has yet to drop more than four games in any of her three wins.

Gauff has eased past Caroline Dolehide, Anca Alexia Todoni and Sonay Kartal in straight sets and she can repeat the trick against Navarro, who she defeated 6-3 6-1 in their only previous meeting earlier this year.

Bet 2: Madison Keys to beat Jasmine Paolini

Madison Keys has reached the quarter-finals of Wimbledon twice before and get the better of Jasmine Paolini to do so again
Madison Keys has reached the quarter-finals of Wimbledon twice before and get the better of Jasmine Paolini to do so again

This promises to be an epic involving world number seven Paolini and 11th seed Keys but it is the experienced American who is fancied to come out on top.

Paolini made her maiden Grand Slam final at the French Open in June and she has shown she is versatile regarding the surface with wins over Sara Sorribes Tormo, Greet Minnen and Bianca Andreescu.

However, Keys is a two-time Wimbledon quarter-finalist and is a cut above those opponents.

The 29-year-old has recorded three straight-sets successes at the All England Club, which includes beating fellow seed Marta Kostyuk in the last round, and she triumphed 6-1 6-1 in her only previous meeting with Paolini.

Bet 3: Emma Raducanu to win 2-0 v Lulu Sun

Things have been tough since she made her breakthrough with victory at the US Open in 2021, but the signs are looking positive for British star Raducanu.

The 21-year-old suggested that a return to form was nearby when making the semi-finals in Nottingham followed by a quarter-final run in Eastbourne.

Raducanu has built on that at Wimbledon and the manner of her 6-2 6-3 win over ninth seed Maria Sakkari in the third round suggests she is a genuine title contender.

The crowd will be on her side and, having won all three of her matches 2-0, she should be able to produce another routine victory over world number 123 Lulu Sun.

Bet 4: Paula Badosa to beat Donna Vekic

Paula Badosa has had her fair share of injuries to deal with but the Spaniard looks right back to her best and may have too many weapons for Donna Vekic.

The former world number two is evidently far more dangerous than her world ranking of 93 implies and there was a lot to like about her three-set win over 12th seed Daria Kastkina last time out.

Vekic is capable but this is when she tends to falter and she has needed three sets to advance in two her three wins over Xiyu Wang and Dayana Yastremska.
