Manchester City are considering an offer for Borussia Dortmund’s teenage sensation Jude Bellingham.

The 18-year-old is one of Europe’s most exciting talents having become a key player for BVB after signing from Birmingham two years ago.

A return to England has always seemed likely for the midfielder with plenty of clubs thought to be watching his progress closely.

Bellingham turned down the chance to join Manchester United before heading to Germany in the summer of 2020 and it is likely they would go in for him again, while Liverpool have also been credited with an interest.

Reports in Spain now say City want to sign the 12-cap international, with Pep Guardiola said to be a keen admirer.

With three years still remaining on his Dortmund contract, the Citizens will likely have to offer a fee much higher than the British record £100million they paid for Jack Grealish last summer.

It is thought that Bellingham will spend one more season at the Signal Iduna Park in order to continue his astonishing development.

That makes a summer move in 2023 more likely for the list of interested parties, which also includes LaLiga giants Real Madrid.

Though City hold the power in terms of finances, Real hope to convince Bellingham to be a key part of a new era at the Santiago Bernabeu.
