Tottenham have enjoyed an unbeaten start to the Premier League campaign and should be full of confidence when hosting London rivals Fulham at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in Monday night's clash. 

The Cottagers have endured something of a mixed start to the season, drawing 2-2 with title contenders Arsenal but also suffering big defeats to Manchester City and Brentford.

They come into this game on the back of a 3-1 home win over Sheffield United but are unlikely to be looking forward to facing a side they have not beaten in the league since 2013.

Spurs will be without Yves Bissouma following a needless second yellow card against Luton. 

Rodrigo Bentancur is back in training, but this game will come too soon for the Uruguayan so it is likely to be Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg who replaces Bissouma. 

Captain Heung-Min Son and centre-back Cristian Romero are fit and available despite both suffering knocks while on international duty. 

Fulham will be without the injured Adama Traore and Kenny Tete as well as centre-backs Tosin Adarabioyo and Issa Diop, meaning Calvin Bassey will be the likely partner to Tim Ream in the heart of the Cottagers’ defence.

Spurs will be confident of making it nine games without a loss against Fulham, who find themselves in the bottom half of the table, with their away form a key reason for that somewhat disappointing league position following last season’s 10th-place finish. 

Marco Silva’s men have only managed one away victory in four attempts this term — a 1-0 triumph at Goodison Park where goalkeeper Bernd Leno’s heroics earned them the three points against a misfiring Everton side who really should have landed the win.

Spurs have won all three of their home games this season, while they have netted 18 goals in their eight league matches so far.

Ange Postecoglou's high-flyers will be confident of adding to that scoring tally against a depleted Fulham defence which is missing Kenny Tete, Issa Diop and Tosin Adarabioyo.
