The Evian Championship takes the focus on the LPGA Tour this week with a star-studded field competing in France for the fourth Major of the season.

French star Celine Boutier delighted the home crowds last year when recording a six-shot victory on The Champions Course at Evian Resort and she is 33/1 with LiveScore Bet to successfully defend her title.

Things have not been going right for Nelly Korda of late, the world number one missing three cuts in a row heading into this event, but she is a six-time winner this season and is 12/1 to triumph here.

Brooke Henderson claimed the spoils here in 2022 and after putting in a valiant defence 12 months ago, when finishing second to the sublime Boutier, there is no reason to suggest she will not go close again.

The 26-year-old Canadian's six other efforts at this course have produced results of T25, T9, T58, T10, T17 and T25, highlighting her affinity for this layout and she heads into this year's edition on the back of a tied-eighth finish at the Dow Championship.

That was Henderson's third top-10 finish of the season, adding to her three top-five results, and the Evian specialist looks ready to be in another strong challenge.

Furue to land first Major

One player looking to break her Major duck this week is Ayaka Furue and she looks to have a great chance of achieving her dream when you look at her statistics on the LPGA Tour.

The Champions Course demands accuracy off the tee, which the Japanese ranks third in this season, while hitting the right areas on approach is also a necessity and Furue is 12th in greens in regulation.

Big, undulating greens add to the difficulty and world number 21 Furue is 10th in putts per GIR and 20th in putting average, showing there are no glaring weaknesses in her game.

Green in rich winning form

Hannah Green made a huge impact when landing the 2019 Women's PGA Championship — her first LPGA Tour success — and her form this season suggests Major number two is not far away.

The 27-year-old Australian won the HSBC Women's World Championship in March before defending her JM Eagle LA Championship in April and her game looks in fine shape.

Green, who has posted results of T18, second, T16, T27 and T24 since that most recent victory, ranks first in putts per green in regulation, 28th in putting average and eighth in GIR.
