- AC Milan have not kept a clean sheet in four UEFA Champions League games
- Slovan Bratislava had seven shots on target against Dinamo Zagreb
- Recommended bet: David Strelec over 0.5 shots on target

AC Milan stunned European champions Real Madrid with a 3-1 win at the Bernabeu on matchday four and the Italian giants are aiming for three continental successes on the trot when they visit Slovan Bratislava.

The home side have lost all four games amongst Europe's elite so far, but they had some encouraging signs last time despite going down to Dinamo Zagreb.

Milan are hefty favourites to collect the three points and take a considerable step towards securing a place in the knockouts stages in doing so.

Team news

Boss Vladimir Weiss would have been delighted to get Austrian defender Kevin Wimmer back fit and veteran midfielder Juraj Kucka was involved in Friday's draw with Kosice.

Defender Guram Kashia is suspended, while forward Sharani Zuberu is set to remain sidelined.

Paulo Fonseca welcomed back Matteo Gabbia for Saturday's San Siro stalemate with Juventus, the central defender having missed four games since last month's win over Club Brugge.

Luka Jovic is still struggling with a groin issue and Alvaro Morata is suspended, so Tammy Abraham – an unused sub at the weekend – may lead the line. Long-term absentees Ismael Bennacer and Alessandro Florenzi remain sidelined.

The stats

AC Milan have only won eight of their last 25 competitive games.

The Rossoneri have not kept a clean sheet in four Champions League games this season.

Slovan Bratislava are one of five teams without a Champions League point this season.

AC Milan have won their previous two Champions League games by more than one goal.

Christian Pulisic has scored the opener in two of Milan's four European games.

Slovakian forward David Strelec has scored 15 goals for club and country this season.

Prediction

AC Milan should fancy their chances of getting another three points here.

They have scored three times in their wins over Club Brugge and Real Madrid in this competition recently, but the Italian giants do not make significant appeal at the prices, though Paulo Fonseca's side should win.

The home side were ultimately beaten 4-1 by Dinamo Zagreb here last time out, but they had 19 goal attempts, including seven on target.

David Strelec, the 23-year-old Slovakia international, is in fine form with 15 goals for club and country this season.

He scored after five minutes against Zagreb on matchday four and also netted the winner for Slovakia against Estonia last week. He can at least work the Milan goalkeeper with a shot on target.
