Nations League draw: England face Republic of Ireland
England will face the Republic of Ireland in the fourth edition of the Nations League.
Finland and Greece complete Group B2, with Wales drawn against Iceland, Montenegro and Turkiye in B4.
The last competitive encounter between England and the Boys in Green was a Euro 92 qualifier where a Niall Quinn strike cancelled out Lee Dixon's opener at Wembley.
A 1995 friendly at Lansdowne Road had to be abandoned due to crowd trouble and the teams' most recent meeting was in November 2020, with the Three Lions claiming a 3-0 victory.
Scotland were promoted to League A in the last edition and will take on 2019 champions Portugal, as well as Croatia and Poland.
Nothern Ireland are up against Luxembourg, Bulgaria and Belarus in the third tier of the Europe-wide competition.
The league phase will be played between September and October before League A quarter-finals and promotion/relegation play-offs take place in March 2025.
Single-leg semis and the final will be played in June 2025.
