Monday features three more games from Euro 2024, including the opening involvement of Group E, with the tournament firmly in full swing.

Two of Europe’s big buns get their campaigns up and running, with Belgium taking to the field at 5pm in Frankfurt where they face Slovakia.

However, the pick of the action could be coming from Dusseldorf where one of the pre-tournament favourites France get up and running when they take on an in-form Austria side.

Belgium vs Slovakia (Monday, 5pm)

Bet 1: Belgium to win

Belgium are unbeaten in 15 matches since losing to Morocco in the group stages of the 2022 World Cup, while they have also kept clean sheets in five of their last six matches of which they have won four.

Slovakia may have won each of their two warm-up matches 4-0, but those wins were against a weak Wales side and the world’s lowest ranked nation in San Marino, so they may struggle against high-quality opposition.

Bet 2: Romelu Lukaku to score

No player scored more goals in qualifying than Belgium’s Romelu Lukaku, with the Chelsea striker netting 14 goals.

The 31-year-old comfortably leads the way in goals for the Red Devils with 85 — a staggering 52 more than the retired Eden Hazard in second place, with Kevin De Bruyne next best in the current squad with 27 — and will likely pose a threat for Slovakia on Monday.

Bet 3: Ondrej Duda to receive a card

Slovakia could be in for a long 90 minutes and could spend the majority of the game defending in their own half, which could lead to many a foul and card when fatigue and frustration sets in.

Midfielder Ondrej Duda committed 18 fouls in qualifying, more than any other player in the Slovakia squad, and a mistimed tackle on Monday could see him fall foul of the officials.

Austria vs France (Monday, 8pm)

Bet 1: Both Teams to Score

Austria have lost just one of their last 16 fixtures and, while they may be unable to claim three points against France, they could still find the back of the net.

Each of their last three games has seen both teams score while France have kept just three clean sheets across their last nine matches.

Bet 2: Kylian Mbappe to score

Superstar forward Kylian Mbappe will likely lead the line again for Les Bleus and the Real Madrid-bound Frenchman was the third top scorer in qualifying with nine goals.

The 25-year-old is 10 goals shy of Olivier Giroud’s all-time record for France and, given he is so used to performing on the biggest stage for his country, he will likely get his chance to close that gap on Monday.

Bet 3: Patrick Wimmer to have over 0.5 shots on target

Austrian Patrick Wimmer averaged close to one shot on target per 90 minutes (0.93) during qualifying and is not afraid to try his luck.
