Seven races from Hamilton are on the menu on Tuesday

There is a seven-race card at Hamilton Park on Tuesday afternoon, headlined by the Scottish Trophy Handicap over 1m1f at 3.25pm.

Conditions are likely to be good to soft-good in places and the action runs from 1.15pm until the final race at 4.35pm.

We have picked out five horses for you to follow.

1.15pm - EBF Maiden Stakes (6f)

Twice-raced ROSIE'S RETURN was third in a soft-ground Catterick contest on debut last month before improving to be second-best at Newcastle upped to this 6f trip 15 days ago.

She was always on the pace there and ran through the line strongly.

The third has shown the form to be solid since and Karl Burke's Cityscape gelding has a solid chance of make it a 3-2-1 form line thus far.

LiveScore Selection: Rosie's Return

1.45pm - 'william The Lion' Handicap (6f)

Bottom-weight EY UP IT'S MICK could shine back in Scotland.

He has got a modest strike-rate (3-30) but the form of his course and distance second Mr Wagyu in June is likeable, the winner having notched three more successes since.

He has not run to that same level in either start since but is below the mark he won off here last summer and has a 7lb to boot now.

LiveScore Selection: Ey Up It's Mick

2.50pm - Hampton By Hilton Hamilton Park Maiden Stakes (1m3f)

Simon and Ed Crisford don not tend to have many runners at this venue and can claim a first Hamilton success with LINE OF DESCENT

The Nathaniel gelding has run well at Doncaster and Newmarket since mid-June and he sets the standard in this line-up.

The filly Fantasising has finished second in each of three starts so far and may continue that frustrating trend.

LiveScore Selection: Line Of Descent

3.25pm - Book Our On-site Hotel Scottish Trophy Handicap (1m1f)

C&D winner Platinumcard is 2-2 in handicaps so far and not one to overlook despite carrying a penalty for his at Ayr last week.

But preference is for lightly-raced handicap debutant RICH DREAM for Ed Bethell and PJ McDonald.

A soft-ground Haydock novice scorer 11 months ago on second start, he was second conceding a penalty in a Wolverhampton contest in April on his only start since.

That form looks solid and shows he can be trusted to bring his A-game after a lay-off — there is plenty more progress in him.

LiveScore Selection: Rich Dream

4pm - Stay At Hampton By Hilton Hamilton Park Handicap (1m4f)

EDGAR ALLAN POE was a winner at Beverley over this trip in June and has run sound races in defeat since.

He was not suited by the way things developed at Catterick last time, unable to really get into things after a slow start, but he is only 2lb above his last win-mark.

And with his stable in form, he has a good ally in 3lb claimer Billy Garrity for this tight-knit handicap.

LiveScore Selection: Edgar Allan Poe.
