After a busy midweek of European action, the Premier League takes centre stage again over the weekend with seven matches on Saturday and three on Sunday.

Leaders Liverpool head to Crystal Palace for the 12.30pm kick-off on Saturday, while the stand-out game on Sunday sees Aston Villa, fresh from beating Bayern Munich in the Champions League, host Manchester United.

We look at all 10 games and have provided a score prediction for each.

Crystal Palace vs Liverpool (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Liverpool edged to a hard-fought 2-1 win at Wolves last weekend and then beat Bologna 2-0 at Anfield in the Champions League to make it a very impressive eight wins from nine games in all competitions for new boss Arne Slot.

The Reds should extend their fine form with victory at Selhurst Park over a Palace outfit that has yet to win in the league this season.

Arsenal vs Southampton (Saturday, 3pm)

Arsenal are unbeaten, winning four of their first six games in the Premier League, and sit third, just a point behind Liverpool, as the Gunners look to mount another title bid.

Mikel Arteta's side left it late to beat Leicester last weekend but were then very impressive 2-0 winners over Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League and they should have far too much for winless Southampton, who were awful when going down to a 3-1 defeat at Bournemouth on Monday.

Score prediction: Arsenal 3-0 Southampton

Brentford vs Wolves (Saturday, 3pm)

Brentford made another fast start but were held to a 1-1 draw by West Ham last time out and they may have to settle for another draw at home to Wolves.

Gary O'Neil's side are bottom, with just one point on the board so far, but they have played better than some of their results suggest and they can hold the Bees.

Leicester vs Bournemouth (Saturday, 3pm)

Leicester were close to earning an unexpected point at Arsenal when they came from 2-0 down but two injury-time goals cost them. They are another of the Premier League's winless sides and their wait for a victory looks set to continue as Bournemouth, who looked good when beating Saints 3-1, can edge this King Power Stadium clash.

Manchester City vs Fulham (Saturday, 3pm)

City have drawn their last two league games after being held by Arsenal and Newcastle but they outclassed Slovan Bratislava in the Champions League on Tuesday and this should be a routine home win over the Cottagers, to end the visitors' two-game winning streak.

Score prediction: Manchester City 2-0 Fulham

West Ham vs Ipswich (Saturday, 3pm)

West Ham are without a victory in their last four games but are set to secure their second league win of the season against Ipswich, who have made a solid start to life in the top flight, drawing their last four matches.

Everton vs Newcastle (Saturday 5.30pm)

Everton finally got their first win of the season against Crystal Palace and they should provide Newcastle with a stiff test at Goodison Park. The Magpies deservedly held champions Man City to a draw and will want all three points from their trip to Merseyside but may have to settle for just one.

Aston Villa vs Manchester United (Sunday, 2pm)

Villa will be on a high after their heroics over Bayern and they can follow up with another victory against United, who were dismal when losing to Tottenham at home last weekend.

Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag remains under pressure and he will be desperate for a victory but Villa have picked up 13 points from a possible 18 at the start of the season and look well capable of finishing in the top four again this season.

Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest (Sunday, 2pm)

Chelsea are fourth after a third win on the bounce last week when they overcame Brighton 4-2 and they can maintain their good form under Enzo Maresca with a home victory over Nottingham Forest, who were beaten 1-0 by Fulham in their most recent game.

Brighton vs Tottenham (Sunday, 4.30pm)

Tottenham were outstanding when winning 3-0 at Old Trafford and they can follow up by seeing off Brighton, who have now gone four games without a victory following the 4-2 loss at Chelsea.
