The European Championship qualifying competition continues on Friday with seven fixtures and continental heavyweights Spain and Portugal are among the teams in action.

Both suffered shock World Cup exits to Morocco last year but Portugal are aiming to make it five wins out of five under Roberto Martinez when they travel to Slovakia in Group J.

Luxembourg versus Iceland is another intriguing fixture in that section while Spain, who head to Georgia in Group A, are bidding to bounce back from their 2-0 defeat to Scotland in March.

We have selected a treble which pays out at almost 4/1.

Friday 5pm

Spain beat Norway 3-0 before a surprise 2-0 loss away to Scotland in March and their involvement in the Nations League Finals in June meant they did not play any Euro 2024 qualifiers over the summer.

La Roja look solid favourites to get their qualifying campaign back on track in Georgia after seeing off European champions Italy and a talented Croatia side to lift the Nations League.

Experienced striker Alvaro Morata is likely to lead the line against Georgia, who scored an 84th-minute winner against Cyprus in June before losing 2-0 away to Scotland.

They did not manage a single shot on target during that rain-affected contest in Glasgow and Spain's defence should keep their hosts at bay on Friday.

Friday 7.45pm

Iceland thrashed Liechtenstein 7-0 in their last away fixture in Group J but they have lost their other three games in the section to Bosnia, Slovakia and Portugal and can expect a tough trip to Luxembourg.

The hosts are an improving outfit that have kept three clean sheets in four qualifiers, including June's 2-0 wins at home to Liechtenstein and away to Bosnia.

They took the lead in the fourth minute in Bosnia and should make the most of home advantage against Iceland.

Luxembourg had a solid Nations League campaign last year, winning three of their six matches and drawing 3-3 in Turkey, so they look more than capable of racking up a third-straight victory in Group J.

Friday, 7.45pm

Portugal have made a flying start to life under coach Roberto Martinez, winning their first four European Championship qualifiers without conceding a goal.

Slovakia are their closest challengers, banking 10 points from four games, but they have scored only five times in those matches and may struggle to unsettle a top-class Portugal defence.

The visitors needed a late goal from Cristiano Ronaldo to see off Iceland last time out but they thumped Luxembourg 6-0 in their previous away qualifier and should enjoy another successful trip on Friday.
