After problematic weather and a rearranged schedule, Wimbledon continues on Saturday with the beginning of the third round.

Among the players set to be involved are American ace Tommy Paul and defending women's champion Elena Rybakina.

Here is a look at a four-fold accumulator paying just over 6/1 for day six at Wimbledon.

Saturday, 11am

Bet 1: Tommy Paul to beat Jiri Lehecka

Jiri Lehecka took down Eastbourne International champion Francisco Cerundolo last time out at Wimbledon but his campaign could be brought to a halt in the third round against Tommy Paul.

Publicidad

Czech Lehecka won 6-2 6-2 6-2 over Cerundolo and can be a fierce competitor in Grand Slams, having reached the quarter-finals of the Australian Open earlier this year.

But there is also a lot to like about Tommy Paul, who has the edge when it comes to grass-court pedigree.

Paul has won 22 of his 36 matches on the ATP tour this year but has been particularly sharp during the grass-court swing, reaching the final at Eastbourne at the start of the month.

Last year Paul made the fourth round at Wimbledon, meaning he has won five of the six matches he has played in the tournament at the All England Club (excluding qualifiers), and he is worth a bet to win this one.

Bet 2: Beatriz Haddad Maia to beat Sorana Cirstea

This is the furthest Brazilian Beatriz Haddad Maia has gone at Wimbledon but fresh from beating Jaqueline Cristian, she can follow up with another victory over a Romanian against Sorana Cirstea in the third round.

Publicidad

Haddad Maia was a semi-finalist at the French Open in June but has also shown in the past she is a competent player on the faster surface with two of her WTA career titles coming on grass (the Nottingham Open & Birmingham Classic in 2022).

Cirstea was worked hard in her last battle with Jelena Ostapenko, who took her to three sets and won a total of 16 games in the contest.

Beatriz Haddad Maia reached the French Open semi-finals and can continue her good form at Wimbledon

Saturday, 11am

Bet 3: Elena Rybakina to win 2-0 v Katie Boulter

For the second successive year, British hopeful Katie Boulter is through to the third round at Wimbledon and for the second successive year, she looks set to exit at this stage.

Boulter dug deep to take down Viktoriya Tomova of Bulgaria in three sets last time out, having won the first set 6-0, but her third-round opponent Elena Rybakina is on another level.

Rybakina is the defending women's singles champion at Wimbledon and the tournament third seed looked pretty comfortable in her first two matches against Shelby Rogers and Alize Cornet.

Saturday, 11am

Bet 4:  Frances Tiafoe to beat Grigor Dimitrov

This is certainly one of the more open third-round contests taking place at Wimbledon on day six but it is 10th seed Frances Tiafoe who is worth backing to prevail.

Publicidad

Tiafoe typically excels on the hard courts but has been fine-tuning his game on grass and showed he can perform by winning the Stuttgart Open only last month.

That run featured wins over Lorenzo Musetti and Jiri Lehecka and he has eased to victory in both of his matches at the All England Club so far.

Both players have yet to drop a set at Wimbledon this year but Tiafoe looks like he can edge it.
