Transfer Talk: Ten Hag eyes Oblak to replace De Gea
Manchester United want to sign Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak as a replacement for current No1 David de Gea.
De Gea, 31, has largely been the undisputed man in goal at Old Trafford for the last 11 years but his contract is set to expire next summer.
Errors have plagued the Spaniard in recent seasons and Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag is seemingly seeking a change between the sticks from next term with reports in France suggesting Oblak is his No1 target.
The Slovenian stopper, 29, has been considered one of the best in the world for several seasons and his own deal with Atleti is expiring at the end of the current campaign.
It is claimed the Red Devils will offer Oblak more than £300,000 per week to tempt him to Old Trafford — almost double his current wages.
But United may not be the only ones chasing his signature next summer.
Paris Saint-Germain, who are not totally convinced by Italian No1 Gianluigi Donnarumma, have also been named as a potential suitor for the 50-cap international.
