Chelsea want to make Inter Milan stopper Andre Onana their No1 goalkeeper.

The Blues are expected to sell Edouard Mendy after failing to agree a contract extension, with the 31-year-old losing his spot to Kepa Arrizabalaga this season.

And The Telegraph indicate the Blues are particularly keen on Cameroonian international Onana and want to put themselves in pole position to land him this summer.

He has excelled in Serie A this term, conceding just 19 goals in 21 league outings as well as keeping six clean sheets in 10 games during Inter's run to the Champions League semi-final.

The West Londoners will have to fork out £40million to land the Nerazzurri No1, though are confident the 27-year-old's salary will fit within their wage structure.

Chelsea are also likely to be in the market for a new striker, with Napoli top scorer Victor Osimhen and Atalanta frontman Rasmus Hojlund among the options being considered.
