Tottenham forward Harry Kane may look to leave the North London club this summer if they fail to qualify for the Champions League.

Both Bayern Munich and Manchester United have been heavily linked with the England captain but it is unclear whether Spurs chairman Daniel Levy will sanction the sale of his star man.

Reports from The Independent suggest Bayern are preparing an "attractive offer" for the 29-year-old who is said to be keen on remaining in the Premier League.

The Bavarian giants have been without a focal point in their team since Robert Lewandowski moved to Barcelona last year and believe that Kane can help them restore their European dominance.

With just over 12 months left on his current deal, Kane will be assessing his options once again after failing to pick up any silverware with his boyhood club, but could still cost over £100million.

He sits 54 goals behind the legendary Alan Shearer in the all-time scoring charts and the world-class marksman will overtake Wayne Rooney's tally of 208 if he bags three more goals in the current campaign.

It is unclear whether Kane would be willing to relocate to another country after recently announcing that he and his wife Kate are expecting their third child, with the pair comfortably settled in the English capital.

But Bayern have not been discouraged in their pursuit of the supreme goalscorer and may provide an offer that is simply too good to turn down.
