Liverpool picked up another win in the Champions League in midweek and now return to Premier League action as they travel to Crystal Palace, who will be hoping to bounce back after a slow start to the campaign.

In the later televised kick-off, Newcastle visit an Everton team that will be hoping their victory over Palace last week can be the catalyst for them to climb the table.

Crystal Palace v Liverpool (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Bet 1: Liverpool to win

Liverpool’s loss to Nottingham Forest is increasingly looking like an aberration, with the Reds winning all of their other eight games this season.

They brushed aside Bologna in midweek and should be too strong for a Crystal Palace team that cannot seem to get going in the new campaign.

Bet 2: Eberechi Eze over 2.5 shots

One issue for Crystal Palace this season has been that Eberechi Eze seems to be trying to take matters into his own hands a little too much.

Their talisman has taken 25 shots in six games, only Antoine Semenyo and Erling Haaland having more, and he is fancied to have three or more here.

Bet 3: Diogo Jota to score at any time

Diogo Jota has only netted one league goal this term while Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz have combined for nine goals but the Portuguese striker could start to narrow that gap.

Jota has an expected goals tally of 1.9 so needs an upturn in his finishing and is fancied to find the net against Palace.

Everton v Newcastle (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Harvey Barnes is expected to be a driving force for the visitors for Newcastle's trip to Everton

Bet 1: Newcastle to win

Newcastle held Manchester City to a draw last weekend and arguably could have won that game, and they may simply have too much quality for an Everton team that have lost four of their six league games this term.

Bet 2: Ashley Young to be shown a card

Ashley Young is now in the veteran stage of his career and may face a tough afternoon against Harvey Barnes. Young has already picked up a yellow and a red card this season and could end up in the referee’s notebook once more.

Bet 3: Harvey Barnes to have over 1.5 shots

Harvey Barnes ranks in the top 10 in the Premier League for shots per 90 minutes this season with 3.89 and he is taken to have two or more shots in this game.
