The Premier League is back after a midweek filled with Carabao Cup and European action and their are number of intriguing encounters set for this weekend.

Manchester City look to return to winning ways after an enthralling 2-2 draw with Arsenal when they travel to Newcastle in the early kick-off on Saturday.

The Gunners are also in action on Saturday as they host Leicester while the pick of the fixtures comes on Sunday as Manchester United host Tottenham at Old Trafford.

We look at all 10 games and have provided a score prediction for each.

Newcastle vs Man City (Saturday, 12:30pm)

After seeing their unbeaten record come to an end at Fulham, Newcastle now face the champions, who beat them in three of last season’s four meetings.

A draw with Arsenal ended City’s 100% league start and they have also lost Rodri, but they normally respond when the pressure is on.

Arsenal vs Leicester (Saturday, 3pm)

A battling point at the Etihad took Arsenal to 11 points from five games and go into Saturday’s clash having won nine of their last 11 home games.

Leicester have drawn their last three in all competitions and have conceded four goals in their two league away games to date.

Brentford vs West Ham (Saturday, 3pm)

It’s three defeats in the last four games for Brentford, who have scored the first goal in their last three Premier League matches.

West Ham have not played a Premier League game outside of London and have collected four points from their last two away games.

Chelsea vs Brighton (Saturday, 3pm)

Chelsea are up to fifth after three wins and a draw in their last four games, but they have taken just one point from their two home games.

Brighton remain unbeaten and head to Stamford Bridge having drawn their last three Premier League games.

Everton vs Crystal Palace (Saturday, 3pm)

Sean Dyche has seen his side take the lead in their last three league games, but have come away with just one point. They are unbeaten in their last seven meetings with Palace.

The Eagles have drawn their last three league matches and have lost just one of their last five away games.

Nottingham Forest vs Fulham (Saturday, 3pm)

Forest remain unbeaten after their opening five games and won this fixture 3-1 last season, but have not won any of their last five Premier League home fixtures.

Fulham are unbeaten in four matches and go into this clash having ended Newcastle’s unbeaten start last week.

Wolves vs Liverpool (Saturday, 5:30pm)

Wolves have lost six of their last seven league games at Molineux and although they have scored in each of their last four, they are sitting bottom of the table.

Liverpool did the double over Wolves last season and have won four of their five games to nil this term.

Ipswich vs Aston Villa (Sunday, 2pm)

Three draws in the last three games have lifted Ipswich outside the bottom three, but they are yet to score more than one goal in a match.

Villa have won five in a row in all competitions and have claimed maximum points from their last two Premier League away games.

Man Utd vs Tottenham (Sunday, 4:30pm)

Both teams have seven points from five games and there is increasing pressure on both managers, with the sides sat in 10th and 11th.

There have been over 2.5 goals in four of Tottenham’s last six Premier League away games, while United have only failed to score in two of their last 12 home league matches.

Bournemouth vs Southampton (Monday, 8pm)

Four points and five places separate these two sides, with Bournemouth looking to end a run of three home games without a victory.

Southampton have lost their two away league games – at Newcastle and Brentford – and will be without defender Jack Stephens through suspension.
