Jurgen Klopp will be leaving Liverpool in the summer with no regrets after guiding the Reds to yet another trophy on Sunday.

The German head coach has delivered some of the best nights in the club's history since he arrived in 2015, though not all of them have involved picking up silverware.

After a memorable success against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup, we take a look at some of Liverpool's greatest triumphs under their 56-year-old boss.

Devils in disguise

Liverpool have had their fair share of rivalries over the years but Manchester United still remain their fiercest foe.

The two stand alone as England's most successful clubs but in March 2023, Klopp and Co sent the Red Devils into meltdown by thumping them 7-0 at Anfield.

It is always nice to get one over on the team you hate most but a breathtaking performance that saw the rampant Reds bag six second-half strikes will leave a significant mark in the Premier League history books.

Klopp's kids

The Carabao Cup is one of the smaller accolades Klopp has secured in his nine-year spell but the context surrounding his side's 2024 final victory over Chelsea cannot be overlooked.

With over half a dozen first-team starters out with injuries, Liverpool had to rely on their youth products to beat a £1billion Blues squad — and the kids upset the odds to triumph at Wembley.

It may not be the biggest achievement for Liverpool as a club but Klopp did not hesitate to label the cup win as the "most special trophy" in his career.

Corner taken quickly

On their run to lifting the 2019 Champions League, Liverpool found themselves 3-0 down to Barcelona heading into the second leg of their semi-final clash.

As is standard under the lights at Anfield, the atmosphere was electric for the return fixture but no one realistically expected the Reds to interrupt Lionel Messi's charge to the Madrid showpiece.

But as they have done so many times before, Klopp's men fought back.

Overturning a seemingly impossible deficit, the final goal of their 4-0 win also birthed the iconic "corner taken quickly" moment — Divock Origi converting Trent Alexander-Arnold's clever set-piece.

That night in Madrid

The Champions League final against Tottenham was not a classic but Klopp did what he had to to win.

Mohamed Salah's early penalty stifled any chance of Liverpool taking risks against Spurs.

Instead, the Reds put on a defensive clinic in the Spanish capital and the city could have been mistaken for Merseyside in the hours following the full-time whistle.

Success in Europe has always been part of the club's rich history and Klopp delivering a title on the biggest stage is undoubtedly one of, if not his biggest, triumphs.

30 years of hurt

Liverpool have had to sit and watch United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City share the Premier League trophy between them for the best part of 30 years — but things finally changed in 2020.

England's prized possession returned to Anfield during Klopp's reign and the Reds were just one point shy of a 100-point haul in the 2019-20 campaign.

They have had plenty of other opportunities to win the top flight but narrowly missed out, making their successful campaign that much sweeter.

Klopp will be hoping he can add one more to his tally before he departs in a few months.
