With the club action resuming this weekend following the international break, we have picked out five potential goalscorers to keep a close eye on.

Kevin De Bruyne (7/4 anytime for Manchester City vs Manchester United)

Much of the focus ahead of the Manchester derby will be on red-hot City striker Erling Haaland, but the prolific Norwegian is not the only world-class performer at Pep Guardiola's disposal.

Kevin De Bruyne has had a quiet season in front of goal so far by his own high standards, scoring only one Premier League goal.

But the Belgian wizard is still playing well and providing plenty of attacking threat, as evidenced by him registering six league assists and racking up the second-most shots for City, behind only Haaland.

A player of De Bruyne's quality will only stay off the scoresheet for so long if he keeps getting into good positions and, after scoring for Belgium during the international break and netting twice in this fixture last term, De Bruyne will be confident of again registering in the derby.

Ivan Toney (13/10 anytime for Brentford at Bournemouth)

Ivan Toney will have been disappointed not to feature for England after earning his first senior call-up last week, but the Brentford striker can show Three Lions manager Gareth Southgate what he is missing this weekend.

Toney has five goals in seven starts for the Bees this season and has netted in two of Brentford’s three Premier League away games, scoring at Leicester and Fulham.

A trip to Bournemouth should offer another chance for the England wannabe to add to his tally as the Cherries have conceded 19 goals in seven Premier League outings this term and even since Gary O'Neil took interim charge, Bournemouth are still conceding plenty of chances in games.

Wilfried Zaha (21/10 anytime for Crystal Palace vs Chelsea)

Wilfried Zaha has been in fine form for Crystal Palace, scoring four goals in just five appearances, and the Ivorian attacker will fancy his chances of netting again this weekend.

Wilfried Zaha is a huge goal threat for Crystal Palace

Palace may have a disappointing record against Chelsea but Zaha has a good one when it comes to scoring against teams led by Graham Potter — the forward netted on each of the three occasions Potter took former side Brighton to Selhurst Park.

If Palace are to cause an upset in the London derby, then it is likely their talisman and leading goalscorer will be front and centre of the action.

Aleksandar Mitrovic (11/10 anytime for Fulham vs Newcastle)

A season that many feared might go badly for Aleksandar Mitrovic is turning into one he may never forget, with the Serbian striker hitting 10 goals in nine appearances for club and country so far.

There were understandable concerns at how Mitrovic would fare back in the top flight following his previous struggles in the Premier League, but the Fulham striker found the back of the net in the first half of the Cottagers' opening game of the season against Liverpool and has not looked back.

Six goals in seven Premier League outings is impressive enough, but add to that the fact that Mitrovic has struck against Tottenham, Arsenal and twice against Liverpool and it is all the more spectacular.

He then went away on international duty and hit a hat-trick against Sweden in a 4-1 win and struck again in Norway to help his country earn promotion into the top tier of the Nations League.

Newcastle are no pushovers but in his current form Mitrovic will be confident against any opponent — and will be fired up to impress again against his former club.

Tommy Conway (9/5 anytime for Bristol City vs QPR)

Bristol City academy product Tommy Conway has been a revelation this season, scoring seven goals and laying on three assists in 12 appearances in league and cup.

The 20-year-old forward earned the EFL Young Player of the Month award for his performances in August and has now scored in five of his last seven Championship appearances.

This weekend his Bristol City side face a tough test against high-flying QPR, but Rangers are conceding at a rate of more than a goal per game in the league and Conway has already displayed his ability to breach the best second-tier sides, scoring against second-placed Norwich and seventh-placed Blackburn in his last three outings.
