Four women dominate the betting at Wimbledon, with top seeds Iga Swaitek, Aryna Sabalenka, Elena Rybakina and Coco Gauff expected to have the title between them.

It is easy to see why given they have shared eight of the last nine Grand Slam titles, with Marketa Vondrousova’s success at Wimbledon last season the only time one of them failed to oblige during that period.

This season’s Australian Open champion Sabalenka heads the betting with LiveScore bet at 15/4, with the recent French Open winner Swiatek 17/4.

Elena Rybakina, the 2022 Wimbledon heroine, is 6/1, with last season’s US Open champion Coco Gauff 7/1, and it would go down as a surprise if one of the star-studded quartet did not claim the silverware.

Fabulous foursome expected to dominate

Swiatek, Sabalenka, Rybakina and Gauff have been taking the WTA Tour by storm and they are threatening to break away from the rest, with few able to land a glove on the fabulous foursome.

Each of them have won a Grand Slam within the last two seasons and they all have separate strengths, although one may have stronger Wimbledon claims than the others.

Swiatek, having won the French Open in early June, is the world number one and many may feel she is, therefore, the one to beat.

However, clay is her favourite terrain and she has yet to cut it on the grass, with last season’s run to the quarter-finals her best effort at the All England Club to date.

Sabalenka has made the semi-finals in her last two Wimbledon visits but she has a habit of finding one or two too good while Gauff was a first-round casualty last season and has yet to go beyond the fourth round.

That may mean Rybakina, who was champion at the All England Club two years ago, outperforms the other trio with her big-serving game well-suited to these constraints.

Jabeur bidding to make it third time lucky

One player that deserves a change of fortune is Ons Jabeur, who has been Wimbledom runner-up in each of the last two seasons.

The talented Tunisian played second fiddle to Rybakina two years ago before being beaten by Vondrousova and, having made the French Open quarter-finals earlier this month, she is one of a hatful of challenges.

Teenage sensation Mirra Andreeva, a semi-finalist at the recent French Open, looks a Grand Slam winner in waiting and could enjoy another deep run while four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka is looking resurgent.

Consistent American duo Madison Keys and Jessica Pegula and Britain’s Grand Slam heroine Emma Raducanu are three others who will be hopeful of figuring.

Prediction

The big-serving Rybakina has all the weapons to repeat her 2022 success and being in the top half alongside Swiatek, who has yet to show her best on grass, may be no bad thing.

Rybakina withdrew during her quarter-final with Victoria Azarenka in Berlin through illness and she opted against competing in Eastbourne, citing a change in schedule.

However, she should be spot on for her beloved Wimbledon and she is going to take some stopping.

If there is to be a shock then perhaps Keys could deliver it.

The ever-reliable American is a former Grand Slam runner-up and a five-time semi-finalist and, housed in the bottom half, she has the draw to do some damage.

There should be few concerns for her before a likely fourth-round showdown with Jasmine Paolini or Bianca Andreescu and she would be a commanding favourite to defeat both of those.

Keys has made the Wimbledon quarter-finals on two occasions, including last year, and her run to the semi-finals at Eastbourne last time out was the perfect preparation for her.
