Chelsea are preparing to swoop for two of LaLiga’s hottest talents this summer.
According to reports in Spain, the Blues are keen on Barcelona’s teenage sensation Gavi.
The 17-year-old has broken into Barca’s first team this season, starting 16 of their 24 league games.
But his contract has less than 18 months remaining on it and the midfielder has not signed a new deal since he became part of the senior squad.
Gavi’s release clause is suggested to be £41million, while he only earns £249,000 per year at the Camp Nou currently.
It is thought that the Spaniard favours a stay at Barcelona and learning under club legend Xavi, but his desire could be tested by the Blues.
Chelsea are also preparing to move for Jules Kounde again after last summer’s attempts to sign him were halted by Sevilla.
Kounde, 23, continues to impress for the LaLiga title contenders but is widely expected to depart this summer.
Spanish outlet Fichajes believe Sevilla will sell the centre-back for a club record fee and have already identified his potential replacements.
They also report that Kounde has his heart set on a move to Chelsea after their failed attempts in 2021.
