Theo Walcott is under the spotlight ahead of Southampton's clash with Leicester

Another bumper weekend of football kicks off tonight and all the big games across Europe are covered right here on LiveScore.

Leicester's trip to Southampton is our main focus today, while Formula 1 is also back on the agenda as we look ahead to Sunday's Portuguese Grand Prix.

Southampton vs Leicester (8pm, Sky Sports)

The Foxes travel to St Mary's for the first time since last season's memorable 9-0 victory, looking to inflict more misery on their struggling hosts.

Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men have endured a woeful 2021, slipping down the table and only narrowly avoiding being dragged into the relegation scrap.

While the Foxes are close to confirming a top-four finish, Southampton will have to settle for the bottom half — despite hitting the summit earlier in the season.

Ahead of tonight's Premier League clash, we turn the spotlight on Saints star Theo Walcott.

Premier League previews

This could be the weekend Manchester City win the Premier League title — but they will have to wait until Sunday to find out, even if they beat Crystal Palace tomorrow.

Chelsea will be out to boost their top-four prospects when entertaining a Cottagers side deep in the relegation mire, while West Brom’s brief spell back in the top flight could also be brought to an end.

Arch-rivals Manchester United and Liverpool meet in Sunday's standout fixture, with Jurgen Klopp's Reds still battling to secure a Champions League berth.

European weekender

If you have not been following the LaLiga title race closely, now is the time to turn your attention to Spain.

Just when it seemed Barcelona had timed their run to perfection, a shock home defeat to Granada on Thursday evening provided yet another twist in the tale.

With Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid and even Sevilla still in with a genuine chance of glory, it is anyone's guess as to where the trophy is heading this season.

All the crucial contests at the top are previewed in our LaLiga weekend guide, while we also keep a close eye on matters at the bottom.

In Italy, the Serie A title race is virtually done and dusted.

Victory for Inter Milan at Crotone, coupled with anything other than a win for Atalanta against Sassuolo, would confirm the Nerazzurri's first Scudetto in 11 years.

But the race for the three Champions League spots is tight, with Napoli, Juventus and AC Milan all locked on 66 points — only two behind Atalanta.

It is just as close at the bottom, where Crotone and Parma could be relegated this weekend, while just five points separate Genoa in 13th and Benevento in 18th.

The big questions in F1

Max Verstappen will look to back up his win at Imola in Portugal
Max Verstappen will look to back up his win at Imola in Portugal

The Portuguese Grand Prix returned for the first time in 24 years during last year’s coronavirus-affected schedule and it is back on the calendar again this season.

After Lewis Hamilton’s victory in Bahrain was followed by a Max Verstappen success at Imola, it looks as though we are set for an intriguing championship battle.

LiveScore’s motorsport expert Jim Munro poses six key questions ahead of the big race.
