Newton Abbot will be hosting a seven-race jumps card on Sunday

Newton Abbot is the sole jumps meeting from the UK on Sunday.

The South Devon-based racecourse have a seven-race card beginning at 1pm.

And we have picked five horses for you to follow.

1pm - British Stallion Studs EBF "National Hunt" Novices' Hurdle (2m1f)

In what was his first appearance since having wind surgery, SKATMAN made a winning start to his hurdles career when he scored in a maiden contest at Musselburgh (2m4f).

He showed signs of greenness in that contest as he raced freely and jumped left, however, he was well on top at the finish.

Paul Nicholls' runner could have a very bright future.

He does need to carry a penalty in this race but he looks the star entry. He will be the one they all have to beat.

1.30pm - Aubrey Loze Memorial Intermediate Chase (2m5f)

Grade One winning hurdler BRAVEMANSGAME is set for his opening outing over fences here.

And if he is able to transfer some of his hurdles form to chasing, he is set for an exciting season.

The Ditcheat runner won the Challow Novices' Hurdle last December.

He also finished third in the Ballymore Novices' Hurdle. Paul Nicholls will have done lots of schooling over fences with his horse over the summer so he should be ready for this intermediate chase.

2.02pm - William Hill Leading Racecourse Bookmaker Handicap Hurdle (3m2½f)

This 3m2½f trip is a real stamina test for the nine runners which are set to line up in this class two handicap hurdle.

BALLYMILLSY proved his liking for this distance when he prevailed at Warwick on heavy ground back in February.

The five-year-old gelding then finished second behind J'Ai Froid over the same C&D as his victory.

That form has been boosted as the Warwick winner has since finished second in a Grade Three contest at Aintree.

Nigel Twiston-Davies' runner has a great chance of making a winning seasonal reappearance.

2.37pm - newtonabbotracing.com Novices' Handicap Chase (3m2f)

BALLYEGAN HERO has been busy over the summer on the track, with two wins coming at this course, including a C&D victory.

On his last appearance at Newton Abbot, he scored over hurdles, prevailing by over three lengths.

The experienced 10-year-old is off a 2lb lower mark here than his hurdle success last month, putting him well in at the weights.

It is a great opportunity for him to add to his tally.

3.47pm - Follow@WillHillRacing On Twitter Novices' Limited Handicap Chase (2m½f)

IL RIDOTO is a very interesting recruit for Paul Nicholls.

This horse has some excellent form in France. Despite only being four, he has appeared twice already over fences.

He was second of six runners on his latest appearance at Bordeaux (2m3f).

The two-time hurdles winner wears the tongue-tie for the first time on his UK debut and he is dropping down in trip.

He could be off a lenient mark to begin with.

LiveScore selection: Il Ridoto
