Burnley vs Tottenham (Saturday, 3pm)

Vincent Kompany's Burnley won their first game of the season in midweek with a victory at Nottingham Forest in the Carabao Cup. This followed league defeats to Manchester City and Aston Villa.

Their tough return to the Premier League continues against Spurs, who have taken seven points from a possible nine. The Londoners rested most of their starters in the cup so should be fresh.

Prediction: Burnley 1-2 Tottenham

Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest (Saturday, 3pm)

Chelsea claimed their first Premier League win of the season last weekend with a 3-0 triumph over Luton. They have since scraped a cup victory against Wimbledon, with a much-changed side.

Forest came close to pulling off a shock win at Manchester United last weekend and also gave Arsenal some scares in their previous away game.

Prediction: Chelsea 2-1 Nottingham Forest

Manchester City vs Fulham (Saturday, 3pm)

Reigning champions Manchester City made hard work of last weekend's 2-1 victory over Sheffield United but they remain the only club in the top flight with a 100% record from the first three fixtures.

In the last week, Fulham produced a surprise 2-2 draw at Arsenal before knocking Spurs out of the Carabao Cup on penalties. City should win, but the Cottagers could put up a fight.

Prediction: Manchester City 3-1 Fulham

Brighton vs Newcastle (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Brighton suffered their first defeat of the season a week ago when they were surprisingly beaten 3-1 at home by West Ham. Now they host another challenging opponent.

Newcastle have lost their last two games, albeit against heavyweight opposition in the form of City and Liverpool. With both teams looking to bounce back, a draw could be the compromise.

Prediction: Brighton 1-1 Newcastle

Liverpool vs Aston Villa (Sunday, 2pm)

Liverpool are unbeaten this season
Liverpool are unbeaten this season

Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool produced a thrilling comeback last Sunday to win 2-1 away at Newcastle with 10 men. They have made an unbeaten start, which includes victories in their last two games.

Villa have bounced back well from their opening-day thrashing by Newcastle to complete comprehensive victories against Everton and Burnley. Goals seem guaranteed in this one.

Prediction: Liverpool 3-2 Aston Villa

Arsenal vs Manchester United (Sunday, 4.30pm)

Neither side have looked convincing this season, but of the two it is United that have more need for improvement after two difficult home wins and an away loss at Tottenham.

With Arsenal, there is a sense that their struggles are somewhat self-inflicted as a result of Mikel Arteta's tinkering with a winning formula. They should be focused against top opposition.

Prediction: Arsenal 2-1 Manchester United
