Wolves vs Brighton (Saturday, 3pm)
Wolves were much the better side against Manchester United on Monday night but lost 1-0 as a last-gasp penalty appeal was controversially rejected.
Though the hosts should be competitive based on that showing, Brighton have already enjoyed a 4-1 win over Luton and have the firepower to win again.
Prediction: Wolves 1-2 Brighton
Liverpool vs Bournemouth (Saturday, 3pm)
Both of these teams drew their opening games 1-1, with Bournemouth sharing a point with West Ham and Liverpool tying away at Chelsea.
The Reds should have the extra quality needed to win their first match of the season, but they look defensively fragile and may concede against the improving visitors.
Prediction: Liverpool 3-1 Bournemouth
Tottenham vs Manchester United (Saturday, 5.30pm)
Spurs played out an 2-2 draw at Brentford in their first match under Ange Postecoglou. The Aussie's attacking style suggests that there will be plenty of goals in their games.
Though Manchester United beat Wolves 1-0, they looked very open and it would be a big surprise if both teams did not get on the scoresheet on Saturday evening.
Prediction: Tottenham 2-2 Manchester United
Manchester City vs Newcastle (Saturday, 8pm)
There is a risk of the defending Premier League champions being somewhat drained by their midweek exploits, having won the European Super Cup on Wednesday in the searing heat of Athens.
Newcastle's impressive home form continued with a 5-1 thrashing of Aston Villa. This should be close, but even with possible fatigue and Kevin De Bruyne injured, we have to fancy the hosts to edge it.
Prediction: Manchester City 2-1 Newcastle
Aston Villa vs Everton (Sunday, 2pm)
Aston Villa will be looking to bounce back from their heavy loss at Newcastle, which saw Tyrone Mings pick up a knee injury that could keep him out for the rest of the season.
Everton are likely to be difficult to beat under Sean Dyche, but as we saw in last weekend's 1-0 home defeat against Fulham, a lack of potency is a real issue for the Toffees.
Prediction: Aston Villa 1-0 Everton
West Ham vs Chelsea (Sunday, 4.30pm)
West Ham's rebuild has started with the signings of Edson Alvarez and James Ward-Prowse, but their pursuit of Harry Maguire has failed and it now looks like Lucas Paqueta could be sold
Chelsea's Moises Caicedo signing makes them look like a much more complete outfit and they should earn their first win of the season.
Prediction: West Ham 1-2 Chelsea
