Fulham and Nottingham Forest will look to bounce back to winning ways when the two sides clash at Craven Cottage in the Premier League on Wednesday night.

The Cottagers were minutes away from beating Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday, only to fall to a 4-3 defeat against Jurgen Klopp's men, while Forest lost 1-0 at home to Everton last time out.

Team news

Adama Traore, Issa Diop and Rodrigo Muniz are still on the sidelines for Fulham, with the trio not expected to return before the end of the year.

Forest centre-back Willy Boly suffered a muscle injury in the defeat to Everton and he could be replaced in the starting XI by either Felipe or Moussa Niakhate.

Taiwo Awoniyi remains a long-term absentee in the final third, but Nicolas Dominguez, Callum Hudson-Odoi, and Neco Williams will all be hoping for starts as the fixtures come thick and fast.

The stats

Fulham have won five of their last seven matches across all competitions at Craven Cottage, which includes a penalty shootout victory over Tottenham in the Carabao Cup.

The Cottagers have struggled at the back and they have only kept one clean sheet at home this season, that coming against relegation-threatened Luton.

Forest head into this clash on a three-game losing run and they have tasted success just once from their last 10 top-flight matches.

Cooper's troops are without a win in their last four away assignments, failing to score in three of those, while a 1-0 victory at Chelsea is their only road win of the campaign.

Prediction

Fulham and Forest will both be eager to return to winning ways this weekend and while the Cottagers look the better of the two sides, the best suggestion selection here could be over 2.5 goals.

The Cottagers have conceded 26 goals in the league this term, only three teams have let in more, and this defensive fragility should give Forest hope.

Having failed to score in three matches in a row away from home, Forest netted twice in the 3-2 defeat at West Ham and they have also found the back of the net at Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea earlier in the season.
