League action returns for clubs across Europe this weekend and there are plenty of players across the continent that have started their domestic campaigns in strong scoring form.

We have picked out five goalscorers to watch out for in Saturday and Sunday's top-flight fixtures from England, Spain, Italy, France and Germany.

Chelsea’s bumper squad were firing on all cylinders last weekend as they saw off Wolves 6-2 at Molineux and they will be expected to claim all three points at home to Crystal Palace on Sunday.

After grabbing a goal and laying on three assists, Cole Palmer scored once and registered three assists in the big win and he will be eager to get on the scoresheet again.

Real Madrid’s title defence has not begun with the dominance many expected, with just one win and five points accrued from their opening three matches.

With Jude Beliingham injured and Kylian Mbappe yet to get off the mark in the Spanish capital, winger Vinicius Jr may have to take on the goalscoring mantle once more.

The Brazilian opened his account for the season from the penalty spot against Las Palmas last time out and this could be the catalyst for the 24-year-old to get on the scoresheet this weekend.

With Napoli looking shaky under Antonio Conte, Parma could have some joy in front of goal on Saturday and, in Dennis Man, they possess a forward in decent form.

The Romanian starred for this country at the European Championships with two assists and has started life in Serie A with two goals from his first two appearances. He may be the focal point in front of goal for the visitors this weekend.

Paris Saint-Germain and Lille clash on Sunday and in a game that could see plenty of goals given how both sides have started the campaign, PSG ace Bradley Barcola could be one to watch in front of goal.

The Frenchman has three goals from his first two appearances — one less than his total tally from last season — and could see himself as a central figure in attack for Les Parisiens after the sale of Mbappe.

While the Bundesliga may have only got back underway last weekend, many players look in fine fettle and one man that shone was former Leicester City striker Andrej Kramaric.

The Croatia international bagged a hat-trick for Hoffenheim in their opening encounter against Holstein Kiel and looks a strong shout to continue his form in front of goal on Saturday.
