- Both teams scored in eight of Brighton's last 10 Premier League home wins
- Ipswich have scored in the first 15 minutes in each of their last three league and cup matches
- Recommended bet: Brighton to win and both teams to score

Brighton made a stirring start to the season under new manager Fabian Hurzeler, winning 3-0 at Everton before scoring a late winner against Manchester United at the Amex Stadium.

They picked up a valuable point at title hopefuls Arsenal before the international break, drawing 1-1 after Declan Rice was sent off for the Gunners early in the second half.

The Seagulls are strong favourites to beat Ipswich but the promoted visitors have shown glimpses of their quality in defeats to Liverpool and Manchester City and a 1-1 draw with Fulham last time out.

Team news

Brighton are missing the injured Solly March, James Milner and Matt O'Riley. Midfielder Mats Wieffer should be fit but Brajan Gruda, Ferdi Kadioglu and Joel Veltman face fitness tests.

Ipswich are likely to head to the Sussex coast without Harry Clarke, George Hirst, Nathan Broadhead, Wes Burns and Janoi Donacien.

The stats

Brighton have scored 10 goals in their first four league and cup matches this season.

The Seagulls have been leading at half-time in all three of their wins this term.

Both teams have scored in eight of Brighton's last 10 Premier League home wins .

Ipswich have scored in the first 15 minutes in each of their last three matches in all competitions.

The Tractor Boys have conceded 10 goals in their last four away league and cup games.

Ipswich have kept only two clean sheets in their last 11 matches.

Prediction

Joao Pedro's injury-time winner gave Brighton a 2-1 win over Manchester United in their last Premier League home game and both teams have scored in eight of their last 10 league victories at the Amex Stadium.

That trend could continue against Ipswich, who scored 92 goals in 46 Championship matches last season and look capable of troubling top-flight defences this term.

The Tractor Boys created some decent chances in the first half of their 2-0 home defeat to Liverpool before Sammie Szmodics gave them a shock seventh-minute lead at Manchester City.

The champions roared back to win 4-1 but Ipswich picked up their first point of the season in a 1-1 draw with Fulham last time out and they can get on the scoresheet at Brighton.

Liam Delap scored a cracking goal for Ipswich against the Cottagers but Brighton forwards Danny Welbeck and Pedro have made fine starts to the campaign and fit-again winger Kaoru Mitoma is a potential matchwinner for the hosts.
