- Hwang Hee-Chan has scored in four of his last five appearances for Wolves
- Bournemouth have conceded ten goals in their last three Premier League matches.
- Recommended bet: Hwang Hee-Chan to score anytime

The Premier League returns after the international break and Bournemouth will be hoping that that gave them a chance for a much-needed reset as the dismal Cherries search for their first top-flight victory of the season.

That win may not come easily, though, as they face a Wolves side full of confidence after a three-match unbeaten streak which includes a win over reigning champions Manchester City.

Team news

Bournemouth are expected to be without up to six first-team players for this game, with Tyler Adams, Ryan Fredericks, Lloyd Kelly, Chris Mepham, Alex Scott and Emiliano Marcondes all injured.

Dominic Solanke will once again lead the line ahead of a likely trio of Marcus Tavernier, Phillip Billing and Dango Outtara.

New signing Jean-Ricner Bellegarde will be available for selection after serving his suspension, but Mario Lemina takes his place on the sidelines thanks to a late second booking in Wolves’ draw with Aston Villa, with Boubacar Traore set to replace him in midfield.

Matheus Cunha, Pedro Neto and Hwang Hee-Chan are the expected attackers for the visitors.

The stats

Only three players have scored more Premier League goals than Hwang Hee-Chan this season and he has scored in four of his last five competitive appearances for Wolves.

Bournemouth have conceded ten goals in their last three league fixtures, while Wolves are unbeaten in their last three top-flight games.

Wolves have scored in each of their last six Premier League outings.

Prediction

Bournemouth’s dismissal of Gary O’Neil after he saved them from what looked to be certain relegation raised more than a few eyebrows over the summer and, so far, the board’s gamble on Andoni Iraola has not paid off.

The Cherries are one of just two teams – the other one being Sheffield United – yet to win a Premier League game this season and they sit second-bottom in the top-flight with just three points to their name.

They have faced a relatively difficult fixture list up to this point, but a 3-0 defeat at Everton before the international break was the rotten cherry on top of a miserable cake.

Iraola’s side have conceded ten goals in their last three league assignments and scored only one in return, and they could come unstuck against one of the top-flight’s surprise performers.

Hwang Hee-Chan managed just three goals in 27 Premier League appearances for Wolves last season but the 27-year-old has already surpassed that tally, netting five times in eight league games.

Hwang continued his fine form with a goal for South Korea during the international break and, with a goal in four of his last five competitive outings for Wolves, he can punish the fragile Bournemouth back line and help Wolves extend their unbeaten streak to four league games.
