As we near the end of the season, our daily transfer column is back to keep you in the loop with all the latest transfer rumours and gossip.

Star striker Harry Kane has told Tottenham he wants to leave this summer.

Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea and Barcelona are all interested in signing the England captain, who clearly feels he has outgrown his boyhood club.

Kane, 27, has netted 32 goals in another stellar personal campaign but Spurs have not won a trophy since 2008 and will not qualify for the Champions League again this term.

With Ryan Mason in temporary charge until the end of the season and uncertainty abound, multiple outlets report he has now told Daniel Levy he wants a new challenge.

But Kane has another three years left on his contract and Levy, a famously tough negotiator, is unlikely to accept anything less than £150million for the club's most prized asset.

It is thought Levy is not keen to sell Kane to another English club, while the red-hot forward would rather stay in the Premier League.

With 220 goals for Spurs in 334 games, there will be no shortage of suitors for Kane. It is more a case of which sides could afford him.

Bissouma to fly the nest

Brighton's Yves Bissouma is wanted by both Arsenal and Liverpool

Liverpool and Arsenal are set to battle it out for £40m-rated Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma.

The Seagulls are resigned to losing the star midfielder, who has put in a number of top performances for Graham Potter’s side this term.

The Sun report Jurgen Klopp wants him to replace Gini Wijnaldum, whose contract runs out this summer, and has been asking around about his off-field demeanour and attitude.

But Bissouma, 24, is highly sought after and Mikel Arteta is said to view him as the perfect partner for Thomas Partey in a new-look Arsenal midfield.

Even though Potter said last week he believes another season on the South Coast would be best for the Mali international, the loss of revenue caused by the coronavirus pandemic means the Seagulls will be unable to stand in his way should a suitable bid arrive.

Now it just remains to be soon who wins the race for Bissouma’s signature.

United after full-back cover

Manchester United may splash £52m on Sporting teenager Nuno Mendes

Manchester United are clearly in the market for a full-back this summer — both Kieran Trippier and Nuno Mendes have been linked with moves to Old Trafford.

Trippier, 30, has been one of Atletico Madrid’s standout performers as they close in on the LaLiga title and has one year left on his contract in Spain.

While the club want him to stay, The Athletic believe Trippier wants to return home and both United and Everton are keen on a cut-price deal for the England right-back.

On top of that, The Sun say Sporting teenager Nuno Mendes is also on the Red Devils’ wishlist.

Mendes, 18, is thought to be valued at £52m by the Portuguese champions following a breakthrough season, which saw him called up to the senior Portugal squad in March.

Other news

Schalke loanee Ozan Kabak’s move to Liverpool will not be made permanent this summer — not that he will be short of suitors following some impressive displays.

The Mail say RB Leipzig are at the front of the queue for the 21-year-old Turkey international.

L’Equipe believe Memphis Depay will finally complete a free transfer to Barcelona this summer after he changed agents ahead of the window opening.

Reports in Italy suggest Chelsea duo Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri are both keen to leave Stamford Bridge and head to Serie A, while French newspapers expect Arsenal’s Matteo Guendouzi to move to Marseille after a season on loan at Hertha Berlin.
