Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United are monitoring Mason Mount’s contract situation at Chelsea after talks over a new deal stalled.

The Blues have the England midfielder tied down until 2024 but there has been little progress made towards an extension in recent months despite ongoing discussions.

Mount, 24, is believed to be unwilling to commit to the type of long-term agreement that owner Todd Boehly handed out to January arrivals Mykhailo Mudryk and Enzo Fernandez.

The Cobham academy graduate wants a significant increase on his current reported salary of £80,000 per week to reflect his status as a senior player and Three Lions international.

ESPN believe the uncertainty has put Liverpool, City and United on alert as they look to add a midfielder to their ranks this summer.

While Mount is not pushing to leave West London, Chelsea may wish to cash in on their homegrown star before seeing him depart the club on a free transfer.

Juventus have also shown interest, while Marca suggest the Blues could include Mount in a deal to sign loanee forward Joao Felix permanently from Atletico Madrid.
