Transfer Talk: Fulham ahead of Liverpool and Man Utd in Andre race
Fulham have moved ahead of illustrious Premier League rivals in the battle to sign Brazil star Andre.
The Fluminense midfielder has racked up a string of impressive performances at both club and international level and The Standard report that the Cottagers are prepared to spend big to land him.
His signing would represent a coup for Marco Silva's side, who could lose Joao Palhinha in January and are in danger of being sucked into a relegation battle this season.
As such, the club's owners are prepared to get their chequebook out in the new year.
Liverpool and Manchester United are also known to be keen on the tough-tackling Andre but may have been beaten to the punch by the West London club.
And Fulham are also considering a move for striker Jonas Wind from Wolfsburg.
The Dane has scored nine times in 13 matches at club level this season and could lead the line for a side struggling for goals since the departure of Aleksandar Mitrovic.
Carlos Vinicius, Raul Jimenez and Rodrigo Muniz have managed two league strikes between them this season.
