Having gained promotion via the play-offs last season, Sheffield Wednesday have returned to the Championship with a whimper rather than a bang, having lost their opening two league games against Southampton and Hull.
They are back at Hillsborough on Saturday but could be in for a tough time of it against Preston, who finished only six points adrift of the Championship play-off positions last season.

New manager Xisco Munoz may look to make a few changes after the Hull defeat with summer signings Momo Diaby and Djeidi Gassama pushing for starts.

Munoz has had a tricky start to life in charge of the Owls, losing both of their league matches either side of a draw in 90 minutes with Stockport in the EFL Cup first round.
Only Luton (11) kept more clean sheets on their travels than Preston (ten) in the Championship last season.
Both teams scored in only 19 of Sheffield Wednesday's League One fixtures last term.
Prediction
Preston fans will have felt disappointed with their 12th-placed finish in the Championship last campaign but it was nonetheless a promising first full season under Ryan Lowe.
North End had been in contention for the play-offs before a run of four defeats in five matches at the end of the campaign and they will be ready and raring to push for the top six once again this term.
Their first two matches have yielded four points after a draw away to Bristol City and a win at home to Sunderland and they can get the better of the Owls.
Wednesday were formidable at Hillsborough last season, losing only one league game on home soil, but they have already levelled that tally with defeat to Southampton on the opening weekend.
That was followed by an underwhelming draw with Stockport in the EFL Cup first round and a 4-2 loss on the road to Hull City last time out.
It was always going to be a controversial decision to remove manager Darren Moore less than a month after gaining promotion and new Wednesday boss Munoz is still finding his feet.
This does not yet feel like the same Wednesday team which finished third in League One last season and they should be opposed again.
