Jude Bellingham has been handed a six-year deal by Real Madrid after completing his move from Borussia Dortmund.

A statement published on Real's official club website confirmed: "Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund have agreed on the transfer of Jude Bellingham, who will remain linked to our club for the next six seasons.

"The presentation ceremony for Bellingham as a new Real Madrid player will take place tomorrow."

England ace Bellingham, 19, moved to Germany from boyhood club Birmingham in 2020.

He had been linked with a host of clubs, including Premier League big guns Manchester City and Liverpool, but Real confirmed last week that they had agreed to pay an initial £88.5million for his services.

The midfielder was named Bundesliga Player of the Season after his starring role for Dortmund, who missed out on the title in agonising fashion on the final day of the 2022-23 campaign.

Bellingham scored his first England goal in the World Cup win over Iran but is absent from the squad to face Malta and North Macedonia in the upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers due to injury.

Speaking last month, he revealed his desire to join one of European football's powerhouses.

Bellingham said: "The goal has always been winning.

"When you ask me what my biggest ambitions are in the game, it's to win everything. And I'm not afraid to say that.

"I feel like everyone should have that goal as professional footballers."
